It will be really interesting to see how this works out. Dennis, from the KZbin channel 'Hooked on Wood' has developed a really effective solution to this problem. If I remember correctly he was also using the same vacuum system as yourself. Keep up the great work.

Cool Video! In my opinion noisereduction is a very underrepresented field on KZbin and a very underestimated in general. Keep on the good work :) Grüße aus Bornheim

I’m actually working on it right now…there’s a lot of research involved since the damping is happening in this second phase.

@@Boulevardfree hey, betreibe sie schon lang, meist für ein paar Minuten. So lange ein Gerät halt Staub macht. Gab noch keine Probleme. Kühlt sich durch die Luft die durchgeht.

I have the same extractor and find that using the exhaust pipes quietens it down considerably and would work out cheaper than this too, you only need to buy one and cut it in half. Talk about over engineered project that wasn't actually needed.

You are right! This is already a quite quiet machine (compare 74db to other vac’s) now simple incorporate the sound dampening tube the company has, then the whisper cabinets from someone eg. Hooked on Wood . This is dead simple and no over engineering required.
