How am I only just seeing this channel of DB?! This is awesome. So refreshing to have someone of Daniel's calibre doing video's like this. There are numerous others that have been doing, or trying to do this kind of stuff on KZbin for a long time and well, sorry, I can't stand them. This however is full on quality information given by a bloke who knows his stuff, knows how to talk using punctuation in a calm and calculated demeanour and rhythm. You're great Daniel. Those imbeciles at the network that shafted you are symbolic of the media industry in general mate, so don't take whatever crap they dished out to you personally. Trust me I know. I'm a television cameraman of some 35+ years on and off (coz it shits me to be completely honest) who has worked in every capacity of TV from News, corporates, live outside broadcasts, commercial production and doco's and it's very easy to become jaded and cynical due to the kind of arseholes that inhabit the media industry. When I started as a cammo here in Australia in the mid 1980's after I finished racing motocross alongside some guys who went on to do decent things in international motocross, I can still hear the words of wisdom from an established cammo who took me under their wing. Two things he said to me were... "Television, to get ahead, you have to give it". And... "Television is like drugs, the harder you suck, the higher you get". Never truer words spoken as I quickly found out. And as I'm not an arse kisser, I still managed to go on to do great things only through my grit and determination but not without many roads full of arseholes trying to cause me grief. I get the feeling that you too Daniel are not an arse kisser either. So, stuff em, you were clearly too talented and a threat to others so you paid the price sadly. But, their loss is our gain. Last to 5th... but last to 10th on West Coast are WAY below the top 3-4 guys level. Like, really way below, just look at lap times. Eli, last to 5th, or was it 6th...against a stacked field with 8 or more former champions, that is something.

Maybe Jett is experiencing what Tomac had to deal with the last couple of years when Yamaha came out with the all new 2023 YZ450F meaning on certain tracks the bike becomes more sketchy and unpredictable . Tomac admitted that the 2022 model YZ450F was much more stable than the 2023 and he did not trust the new model nearly as much as the older model which caused him (Depending on each track) to become considerably slower . I personally don't think there is anything wrong with the 2025 Honda as it's been ridden and tested more than any other but I also won't rule out that it may not be as good as the older model on some tracks . Jett had a subpar race , it happens but Hunter was riding great on it and held off Tomac.

@@camaroant2700 Earlier in the race Hunter was going well and was pushing but once he fell it looked like he didn't trust the bike and rolled around 11th to the end Hunter is full of grit , He will bounce back and between the two will get the bike on track I hope for this season so they better get to work lol

Hey DB whats your take on Honda 250 looked really settled the 450 howerver looked really upset. From my understanding there the same frame/chassie. Dose the weight and power not gel in that frame or id it just down to suspension set ups. We know it should be good outdoors its kind of proven there....... do we see a shift back to the old ecu and fule.

Jett was fast in Q, but when he tried to push for that little bit extra to try and beat Eli, the bike washed out on him. If he isn't comfortable pushing the bike for 20 minutes that one good lap doesn't mean much.

Blair who in the heck do I get into contact with about the announcers of supercross? They have completely ruined the sport with their announcers taking away from the excitement of the racing with the announcers telling story after story after story”during the racing” which no one gives a crap about all they want to do is watch the race and what is happening, and then it’s take it away Will Christen with your high-pitched voice and stories so we can listen to you while the race is going on. It never used to be like this it used to be the announcers focused on what was happening in the race. Everything has gone completely sideways when a certain person became the announcer….. this has to change because they are ruining Supercross and the whole experience and excitement of watching it instead we’re listening to these announcers that are driving us crazy.
