The most films and video games are kitsch art, but every so often there is one made with a genuine intent, purpose and understanding of how to portray thoughts and ideas to the audience. Silent Hill 2 is undoubtedly among them. As for its remake it remains to be seen. Its trailer makes James seem grief stricken but not deeply traumatized like in the original work.

Personally my favorite is the way the music starts to swell at 1:55 leading into the refrain while Maria screams, "Anyway?!? What do you MEAN, anyway!?" Aside from Angela's lines thats probably the best line of dialogue in the game for me, only reinforced by the instrumentation

Takayoshi Sato did a wonderful job creating these CGI cutscenes in the original. In both Silent Hill 1 and 2, he worked on them alone, doing most of these cutscenes (all of it in the case of SH1) by himself. He really was prodigee of CGI.

I remember that 2021 was a horrible year for me, I lost a lot, people who loved me betrayed me, my own parents betrayed me, I was psychologically tortured, I was threatened by many things, not even in my dreams I had peace, I dreamed with that and everything even worse, it was horrible, i tried to kill myself several times, it was a real hell, i was hoping that at least Silent Hill would be revealed that year for me to at least die seeing the franchise come back, it didn't happen at the time, but at least I saw Tobey Maguaire and Andrew Garfield Coming back together, thank God I didn't die too!!!! I remember that once I was very close to killing myself, but a friend of mine saved me and we currently have this channel me and him together, thank God things got better, and today I finally saw the return of Silent Hill and I'm still alive, I don't even intend to kill myself anymore, I'm very happy that the franchise is back, I'm really looking to buy a PS5 and already pre-order the game to play at launch, I want to play now with the people who really like me, finally I'm free from this torment, I remember that I compared to Silent Hill what I lived, my biggest nightmare had become real and it was in front of me, but thank God it's all over, I'm happy and I have the people who really love me with me, thank you very much to God!!!!! There is indeed. Sony is currently trying to patch up things to get Silent Hills off the ground. Kojima was seen to be holding a pencil with the words Pyramid while mentioning the word silent. Norman Reedus currently in talks to work on another project with Kojima. Former members of Team Silent reportedly working on the new Silent Hills according to reliable leaker.
