Why dont you emulate or try the first Silent Hill or play the old version of Silent Hill 2 since it's different from this one? You still get the experience but different. Best of all, emulation doesn't cost a dime

HarshlyCritical are my two go-to YTers for remakes of classic horror games - you both don't mind those classics being remade if done in an "authentic" way and give honest and open-minded opinions. I know literally everyone is playing this right now but I’m so stoked for your play through. The graphics look great. Ahhh , the nostalgia for this and the original Silent Hill just hit like no other and I’d love to see you do a play through of the original! I remember being in high school ,and I wanna say 2001 or 2002 , my boyfriend in high school played Silent Hill constantly. I just remember hanging out there on the weekends while he played in darkness and I would watch and be scared shitless. We both would be , really. I grew up playing Nintendo and sega and had never seen a proper legit horror game until this. I remember the whole game being dark as shit and being scared just watching the gameplay. I don’t remember much other than that though as far as the story, just that I’d never experienced a game that effective at horror. With the darkness, every corner you turned was scary, and there was truly nothing like it as far as its execution of everything

1:08:13 just remember if you come up to one of those clues and that actually is relevant. All I have to do is have James open up his map and he writes down the code for you. If you come across one like this and he doesn’t write it down then you know it’s not an actual clue.\ code

I feel like all those notes we've been picking up about a creepy dude are about James. The one at the florist, and the one at the diner. I'm really digging the remake so far! I didn't have high hopes for it, because speaking as a CSA, SA, and DV survivor, I don't think Bloober team handles those topics with much tact, respect, or understanding...But, I'm hopeful.

It looks and sounds great. But I have a issue with the characters design? Like they used to look so uncanny it just make the whole game better if it makes any sense? Angela looking older and tired make sense. Eddie looking unnatural make sense. I dunno maybe is just the nostalgia hitting hard.
