Well, knowing that the White Claudia drug was actively distributed among the population of Silent Hill and tourists, it's understandable the police was aware of the Order's shady businesses (and was probably involved in carrying them out). But putting its symbols on cars so openly is intriguing.

Wow, I didn't notice those runes on the Silent Hill Police symbol. But now that we are at it, the Woman in the center of this is actually the image of Jennifer Carroll. You find her statue in Rose Water Park and the image used in the symbol here, is actually the very same artwork used in Silent Hill 3 for her!

I do remember reading on some polish SH fan sites that Mary's sickness was induced by some kind of allergic reaction to White Claudia drug, but I can't find that information now. Some of those sites no longer exist, unfortunately. None of the newer sources seem to be mentioning this

@iMoha98 It's related to the pictures that you collect throughout the game, I think you need to find these exact places throughout the game and interact with them in a certain way! The one that I managed to do was the picture that you found in the Blue Creek apartments, the picture with room 208, and says "forever together", what you need to do, head up to that room which will be locked and marked with a straight red line, try to open it couple of times by moving forward and backwards, and then you'll hear a loud sound of someone shaking the door handle from the other side, and if you check the map again, you'll notice that the door's marking changed from straight red line to zigzag! This mission is on another level, cause it'll require paying attention to the smallest detail! Good luck, and please share it with others!

It's also not what leprosy looks like. It's most likely the same plague the game's writers kept hammering home about: the plague that swept the hospital and the prison without a cure, baffling physicians as to what it was. If it were cancer, Mary's attending physician would call it cancer and so would James. Skin cancer was far from unknown in the late 80s and 90s. What the original actor believed about the plotline is completely irrelevant.

Silent Hill is a time travelling game, the developers acquire fans by doing this brilliantly. I saw professional psychoanalysts try to interpret the game. I do believe them, BUT the game requires knowledge of the entire series, including events and captions from images scattered through the games separated by years in between. I still find it dangerous, that is, playing in-game "real-life" occult knowledge from history centuries ago, I just hope they don't curse players by doing so, and it's one of the reasons why I interpret the game properly and ethically. These could haunt people who misunderstood the real sense of the mystery, back to real life. Some people will focus on James as he is controlled by the player, others, will consider all characters and everything that is laid by the game developer. It is different.
