Frame generation heavily saves the game's frames, it's especially good if you're playing with a controller since you'll feel the input lag less with it, but it still causes choppy frames time to time. I'd say straight up low FPS without frame gen is still better overall.

People who got low/mid level rig, frame gen is a savior for them. Also, Nvidia Reflex Low Latency helps a lot too

Yes, that's what I suggested to him, to update the game to the latest version to get that frame gen thing, or use the unofficial method when frame gen feature was not available
