5:38 So I also used to make fun of the guy for the umbilical cord comment, but last year I found out that it's common for some Asians (notably Japanese people) to keep the umbilical cords of their kids in a small box like that one. My parents did it for me too and I'm Southeast Asian. It's the equivalent of parents keeping their kids' baby teeth (arguably just as weird if you come from a culture that doesn't do that. And the umbilical cord doesn't rot and stink it just dries up lol so...something weird going on there, though that's self-explanatory). I'm not sure if other countries do it but from that alone it sounds decently common and not confined to just Japanese people. It's pretty weird considering that white people don't do this and Frank's white lol, but since the game's devs were Japanese, maybe the reason why Frank did it was because he felt so much pity for Walter as a baby that he did it as a symbolic gesture. Like your parents don't love you enough to keep your umbilical cord, but at least someone did. Something like that. Wanted to share this because just like everyone else I used to think that was insanely weird and funny but learned it was in fact a cultural difference.
