If you think of it like me is more of psychological horror and sadness rather than normal terror, for me this game (the first silent hill) changed the whole horror game industry, is sad is scary and it doesn't ever stop, you can't stop feeling bad about the characters (sometimes about how they don't realize they are already dead) neither feeling scared about the monsters, i think that silent hill is what a real purgatory would be like, not the best of people and neither the worst are trapped in it, maybe the "normal to bad" and "bad to horrible" people are always in silent hill, which only makes you feel sad but also would be a realistic way to see a punishment, no matter what life you had or anything, everybody had traumas or commited errors and in silent hill you face them, they will make you feel sad, hollow and scared.

Till these days, it's still the most mortifying cinema death to me

I remember first watching this scene. It was fucked up and powerfully emotional. After finishing Silent Hill, though, it kinda ruins Cybil's Character, lol. That reminds me, though. The actor who is playing Cybil is probably how Cybil would really act IRL. The actor has the correct physical features and that sassy, yet helpful characteristic.

All these years later and this still makes me sad. I love the movie but I will forever wish Cybil had survived. 😢 💔 And the theme of mothers and daughters in this movie is great. Rose loved Sharon and marched straight into hell to save her, Dahlia will forever grieve for her mistake and the loss of Alessa, and Cybil cried out for her mother as she died.

Cybil's death really pissed me off in this movie. But it does remind me of something my pastor said years ago. "The devil goes to church too."

What's nuts it she wasn't even put in the fire. She was effectively cooked alive til she caught fire from the heat. Man.

CLA82529 I thought for a video game to movie compared to others that have been done, this one was pretty decent.

CLA82529 this film was great! Especially compared to the sequel, the resident evil films or basically any video game adaption, but even as a stand alone film it was a solid 7 out of 10

Did you know there’s a whole biker gang that act as a charity that supports victims of pedophilia and their families. They even act as an entourage for kids who have to confront their rapists in court.

For a town that everyone accidentally burned down in a fire these people are really obsessed with burning things...
@littlemissmonster69694 жыл бұрын
Just saying, burning to death from the heat rising from the flames rather than being put in the flames themselves is far, far worse. She deserved better
