What I would love to see this game reissued with all the bugs worked out ,but with modern graphics . I really love all the set up tasks that a real sub skipper had to make to get a shot off. Great job Mister Horner, Great ship, Fine Crew, Merry Christmas, Turn Two.

I believe it was Lockwood who told a subordinate US submarine base commander, who had blamed the torpedo's failings on the sub skippers "Your Bureau training has not been wasted.". I love that line. :) And, welcome back!

Hey Devin, great job on making this episode, one of your best yet. I doubt most of us regular viewers mind the thumbnails, but you might reach a bigger audience if you had some more varied thumbnails (Possibly in the same sort of ballpark as Wolfpack345). Having a custom thumbnail for each new video, perhaps just a interesting screenshot with the title name and episode number. This is subjective but I personally liked your previous titles in this serious more. I find "Silent Hunter 4 Ep9: Fall of the Dutch East Indies " more compelling than "SH4 Ep 10 ". Excellent video overall, just some feedback, but I'm just one guy so take it with a grain of salt.

Great videos! Love the historical context and information of the submarines and submariners. Just FYI It's actually 'Fremantle', by the way. The devs made a typo on the map and base name which never got fixed in release. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fremantle. The latest TMO upgrade mods corrected it, which made me a happy man.

If I thought I had to waste torpedoes, I would only waste at most 2. Having the lock on not work may have something to do with you picking the hardest difficulty setting. I would like to see another series of this game.

Thanks for a really great series and all of the accompanying historical content! My only previous PC sub gaming was Silent Service 2 which I loved! This Silent Hunter 4 looks like a good way for me to re-capture that adventure and excitement. I downloaded and read the manual. It doesn't look that difficult.

Early war the torpedo supply was very low and if a skipper fired 5 torpedos at a single merchant his command was pretty much over when he got back to base. Also, worth noting is when Lockwood got permission to field test a couple torpedoes, you could consider that one of the biggest miracles of the war. He still had an incredible battle getting the results recognized after the tests.

USS Nevada the unsinkable battleship survived pearl harbor WW2, 2 nukes and i think a couple days of BB fired from modern battleship like Iowa till a torpedo sank it.
