I think drawing in pencil then working digitally is better overall. It seems like a lot of the "heart and soul" of the artwork just doesnt quite go through if its all digital. But I suppose that is up to the person drawing it to choose what suits them better. Btw your manga looks good so far! Curious to see what happens next.

Damn this looks awesome man, I'm planning to enter this contest as well but know nothing about how to create Manga although I have created comic before, is there a different between traditional Manga and just comics ?

Thanks! I’d say there’s key stylistic differences between western comics and manga but in the end theyre both visual storytelling

I want to ask if the audition allows panels where people are shown talking but with no dialogue of course ,, like showing someone having an aggravating conversation with another person etc for the plot but with no dialogue just expressions and mouth moving ? Please if you can answer me

Currently something is blocking me to make a comic. Its a Dialogue. Im no English man so i settled my self in silent comic and Light Novel Illustration.

that's great! manga is a visual medium, so dialogue isn't the biggest factor :)

@@REMCreates oh yeah. I saw the audition. That time i discovered, you can make a comic with/less/without Dialogue at all and a lot of ppl accept/like it. I'm literally clueless at all, Tho i wont enter it. Thanks to that anyone can publish their own work through visual. No language barriers.

And i noticed its better to do it in preferred Language. Translation comes later. Which is... newbie tend to face(problem)
