I sometimes play this in Brisbane. But it's the Japanese version. This game is called 狙撃 SOGEKI or "Sniping" in Japanese. I didn't know you call this "Silent Scope".

Aw I was expecting you to shoot the teddy. Used to love this game on the Xbox, I got bought it when I was younger with the sniper rifle gun and all that. Using it on the tiny cube television wasn't ideal though. Game is a classic though. I used to enjoy the multiplayer mode (of sorts) where you had to find and shoot your partner in the fair ground or building block. You're pretty good though. Nice work

The multiplayer duel mode was only available Silent Scope 2. Both linked with other player or against an AI opponent.

Oh so this game was called Silent Scope? I remember playing this randomly in an arcade but never remembered the name (which I think it was still in Japanese...), I remembered it mostly because I had a super lucky run in the black limousine scene in which I shot randomly once when the stage started and the stage was immediately over, I really couldn't believe my eyes when I did that lol. But looking at it again, maybe I mistook my memories or something since it looked like you couldn't shoot the guy before he opened his visors or something. Also never finished this game since I couldn't get in the last level at all, the stealth shit is impossible at all and the glider had so much enemies so the only option left was through the docks.. never got past that either, ever. (I had limited money so yeah)

damn i used to play this on my local arcade. unfortunately the machine broke down because its a shitty arcade with lack of maintenance thus i can no longer play this one :'( i also own the ps2 copy that was bundled with the 3rd one like this one but without the rifle it just doesnt feel the same

Fun, but the thing is the rotation of the sniper rifle on the cabinet was a bit stiff, and thus I couldn't pan around fast enough for some parts of the game. The first 2 stages were relatively easy with stationary or slow moving targets, then the 3 stage completely changes things up with a high speed chase, requiring the player to lead the target by taking distance into consideration. Like 7:00 for example. What, did Konami honestly expect most players to be crack shots, who could even aim accurately under such high speed conditions I hated the 3 infiltration missions. The glider one requires significant lead adjustment to target, the underwater one completely alters the normal bullet trajectory, forcing you to lead at odd angles, and the sneaking one requires not only very steady aim, but very fast reactions. The stealth tank is probably the hardest boss, no average player could get lucky with a headshot so easily Also, are you intentionally not looking at the life up nurses, or you just didn't see where they are?

This game, Silent Scope EX, is an arcade game that Konami included in Silent Scope 3, which was a game that was released for PS2. Because PCSX2 emulates PS2 games and Silent Scope 3 works with this emulator, I'm able to play Silent Scope EX on PCSX2. If Silent Scope EX wasn't included with the PS2 game Silent Scope 3, I wouldn't be able to play it on PCSX2. So the answer to your question, if I follow you correctly, is if a particular arcade game like Silent Scope EX has already been ported to PS2, you can most likely play it on PCSX2, the PS2 emulator, if the emulator is setup correctly.
