Not happy with the voice acting in the other trailer and in spots of this one it seems they didn't wanna stay faithful with the originals awkwardness of dialog which was intended in the original to convey the uncanny but also because James killed his wife just days before arriving at the rest stop so why does he sound so calm.

Sure, there are a few problems but overall, I think this is a solid remake. The thing is when looking into games like this, you cannot expect 1:1. Things are going to be different. Based on what I saw, I'm intrigued and excited for the remake.

Yes, there is a sound but it's toned down a bit, just as guy above me mentioned at 3:59 timestamp. However, I believe they'll put up an option for oldschool sounds in audio settings, same as they did with Resident Evil and other remakes! All in all, I'm really excited for this one, even though I never finished the OG.

This looks miles better compare to the first reveal trailer. It answered most of the critics and concerns that the fans had and also give a lot of faith on the team that is working on it. I really enjoy the improvements, the combat feels much more impactful, the guns don't lack punch and I'm really interested to see this new dynamic of switching weapons quickly mid combat, it didn't felt too much for a horror game, but a great take and improved version from the original. The the rest for me is terrific, maybe some of Angela's delivers are a bit out of place but overall is a great improvement, definitely a huge W for me. Do you guys agree or have something more to point out? I'm very excited to discuss about this

Yeah, I think the same. Animations could be better overall and i hope they'll try to make them better for the release. Mostly, as you said, Angela's face animations. She looked really stiff in the state of play trailer. Environments and the overall atmosphere instead felt great in this trailer. I'm now really curious to play it!

My only nitpick is that James should stumble a bit more. Like when he dodged the lying figure ( first revealed enemy) spewing poison he woulda been cool if he stumbled out the way and for a split second looked at the direction the poison was spewed instead of straight up dodging but again a nitpick

The surroundings are too lighted up and big. Doesn't give off the claustrophobic and mysterious feel anymore. The tense feel from in between door entry is gone. Kinda feels now like a new resident evil game

I don't think this game has the same feel as the original but I still want to play it because it looks fun in its own right. I always felt the combat was very boring in the original. So far my only concern is the "DEI Consultant" they hired. The game tackles a lot of deep and somewhat "offensive" themes, and while people are hung up on Angela's appearance (even though she's always looked a bit frumpy and was never portrayed as attractive) I am worried about Maria's portrayal and general demeanor. She's supposed to be an idealized and sexualized version of Mary and I hope that's not lost as it is an important and raw part of the story. All in all though, aside from Maria's slightly toned down design, this is almost exactly how I would have remade the game (I'm especially happy they didn't cop out and go with the movie version of the nurses). From gameplay, to art direction, to sound design. This is exactly what I want. So long as that Consultant didn't have too much input, I think it'll be just fine and people are jumping on a hate wagon without actually understanding or even playing the original

The unsettling atmosphere starts off charged with dread and menace. With every step you take, the inhabitants and creatures grow more disturbing and terrifying, as the layers of Silent Hill are gradually peeled away. I hope the game continues to build on this nightmare.

Primeiramente quero parabenizar a Bloober Team pelo excelente trabalho, sério isso daqui tá muito bom, sei que todo mundo tem direito a opinião pois vejo que infelizmente tem gente que já esta negativando o jogo por causa dos Trailer mas francamente, eu queria saber o que certas pessoas estão vendo de errado com esse jogo porque eu particularmente só estou vendo maravilhas aqui. A ambientação, os monstros, trilha sonora, combate bem fluido e uma boa interação do James com os objetos dos cenários. Não vejo do que reclamar desse excelente Remake e mais uma vez lhes digo, parabéns a todos os envolvidos. Acompanhei a transmissão ao vivo ontem e vou dizer que até as atuações dos atores mostram o quanto eles se dedicaram para fazer esse jogo acontecer e não liguem para os que estão reclamando, continuem assim pois vocês estão no caminho certo. Criticas são válidas para ambos os lados mas quando há pessoas que exigem demais em tudo, é porque não se agradam com nada.

This game may not he a graphical showcase like Dead Space Remake or Resident Evil (7 to this day) but you know what, that didn't stop me from feeling creeps. Looking back, not even the OG games looked more impressive than other games back then but they still managed to capture a feeling not all games in the genre captures. Exact same feeling here, it's time to take some games for what they are and not what I want them to be.
