Is this basically a comfortable sleep mask with built-in speakers connected by bluetooth for $180? I downloaded the app for free and used with audio-technica headphones which I'm confident are MUCH better sound quality while in a dark room. It seems to me that Silentmode is a sleep mask with headphones for $180. Am I missing something?

Nope not missing anything. These are to be used when dark room is not available.

Yes I do think it is worth it. You can't really put a price on anything that helps overall well being, especially for individuals on the go who can't get in quality black out rest. If you are interested follow them they usually have some really good deals of up to 25% at times. However I do wish tech specs on the speakers were more suitable for audiophile. No ANC so in loud areas and outside noise will seep thru.

Hey man, this is the best review I've seen so far for this review. If I may make a suggestion, I wouldn't have minded if you had a speed up part of the video where you napped. Sounds creepy i know, but I'm not being weird. It just to further validate and expel all doubts that it was just a cut scene and you just pretending to wake up. I'm totally not saying that's what you did, but it would just further solidify your honest review. If there is a concern that some viewers would not want to even sit thru a sped up version of that part of the vid, you could also accompany that with a time stamp to go straight to after the power nap. But again, great first product review.
