Auto-clicker for me: my 4 year old son. Telling him that he can play the game, just push *this* button. He gets to see what he got in the chest, and is happy as hell to play. I also set small rooms up for him to walk around in while I cook, and he gets to play around. Usually I fill his inventory with paintings for him to take down, and replace. He gets to have fun, and I get to AFK on my switch.

If you have the slab in the front left on bedrock, you will have the fish jump out. Just replace that one with a solid block to fix the problem.

Perfect timing as I just learned my previous AFK fish farm broke somewhere in 1.17 or 1.18 and we are starting to run out of fish! It’s super similar, so should be able to adapt it to this one…. Hardest part may be the 90° change in the water cell the fishy friend lives in… it’s behind in the older one so I’ll need to adjust the skylight in the house it lives in.

I had to enclose the area with the fish in a lot more than shown as the fish would jump out within about three seconds every time. Seems to work though with the area fully enclosed, no half slabs used other than under the chest and sky access to both water sources. Not sure why my fish was anxious to get out when the one in the video seems content to stay. Hope this helps anyone with the same issue.

Did you build it underground? I built two, one on the surface which the fish stayed in the water, and one by my spider spawner underground, which the fish jumped out of.

It's caused by the slab in the front. If you replace that with a standard block it should fix the issue, and did for me.

Well silent i think this doesn't work on mobile because this design is using trapdoors, in mobile you have to crouching and using armor stand to replace "fish" button into "pose" button.

Just to help a few people out with the autoclicker issue! Using Lure 3 I found putting the click interval on 8000 milliseconds was a good enough time to catch and recast without it reseting the time when a fish doesnt bite!

It works fine for me in 1.19. If you are having problems try moving your cursor position so that the bobber stays on the fence and you can click the iron trap door when it comes down.

Can confirm that this build works on bedrock 1.20. Found it a LOT easier than the other builds out there. I also built this in my underground base leaving a 'chimney' up to the sky above the two waterblocks and it works perfectly. Thanks!!

@@masonhc5461 I believe so. In the video he does briefly mention that there must be sky above the two water blocks to allow it to rain. So I just build a big vertical hole / chimney to clear space above where the fish go and the waterlogged chest block, two blocks wide. Hope that helps.

My fish despawns if the chunk unloads. Even giving it a name tag didn’t help. Only solution I found was to pull the fish out and store it in the chest and replace it next time I wanted to fish.

This isn’t working for me and I can’t figure out why. When I throw my rod down in the same way you do, it doesn’t go down, but rather it floats on top of the chest and I can’t get it to go where I want, no matter how much I try. Neither does it land on the pressure plate. Like you did in the beginning, I’ve managed to make it go through the hopper but feel like that wasn’t the actual way to do it. What am I doing wrong?

I think for most of us it goes without saying but for those who don't know this farm is best build in biomes in which it rains as it increases your probability of catching fish for like 30% or so

i found on Xbox connecting a Mobile controller app and using a mobile autoclicker on the button that needs clicking works okay, you gotta use a spare device tho if you wanna use ur phone

For ps4 users (I'm sorry Xbox players I have no experience with your console) If you have phone what you can do is install an autoclicker and connect the phone with your ps4 with the app PS Remote play. That should work if you set the autoclicker around 500ms

I have one, I built it using an Arduino Pro Micro board and a bit of code I wrote. The Xbox or Android box sees it as a generic Xbox controller and it just clicks away, once a second. Works perfectly :D

I've been doing a few afk sessions with the farm, but I noticed something odd. Other then Impaling V, NONE of the books or bows will have tier V enchantments. Power IV, but not V. Efficiency IV, but not V, etc. Must have run it a total of 24 hours combined, and other then the rare Impaling V book, everything was at most tier IV.

I've built this farm countless times before with success. Now when I cast at the correct spot the bobber almost immediatly falls down between the pressure plate and chest before I've caught anything so the trapdoor resets back up and the rod reels back in. If I remove the water from the chest the bobber properly stays on the pressure plate. Seems like something in the object dimensions or behavior changed. I'm on 1.19.30.

Just built it in 1.21 and it is working perfectly with a auto clicker. Only issue I had was I would return to my pc and the fish had escaped so I replaced the slab (left of the wooden pressure plate) with a solid block and now that’s not an issue.

All you have to do is add redstone, a redstone torch, and a note block and you have made an alarm for it. Also, if you are on console, walk up until you cant, and look at the outline of the block going across one of the top sides and cast the fishing rod. If you do it correctly, you will be able to do it way quicker. (I don't know about pc or mobile, but it's perfect on console)

This works well on consoles if you have a controller with a turbo option. I'm currently using split pad pros for my switch and it seems to be working well with the turbo mode.

It worked on Minecraft PE 1.18, I just have to move the player back a bit and aim directly on the water source on the chest for the bobber to hit both the water and the pressure plate.

So I'm on console and I have a speed click that will auto click, but it's way too fast. I've been trying to figure out how to have something intercept the clicks (like a noteblock in your previous design), but nothing seems to trigger fast enough and I end up pulling the line back immediately. Any way you'd be up for the challenge? I believe this one could be faster for the intercept as the iron trap door is what's doing that (right?) So it seems faster, but the pressure plate trigger is just a smidge too slow

Just remembered the proper term, it's a "turbo button", but it also has an always on mode so I don't have to hold the button down

@@riuphane are you using the split pad pro for Nintendo switch? If so you can adjust the speed of the autoclicker. Just hold the autoclicker and move the joystick down to decrease it. You can also move it up to increase it

Yeah. The time between cast and fish is shorter when rain is hitting the water.

Direct skylight rain access reduces waiting time for the bobber to catch a fish.

I tend not to use the auto clicker either. But that doesn't mean the Fish Farm is a bad idea, and yes, any time it is Raining is a good time for Fishing. Building around it so you are Safe is a good thing, but remember that the Water wants Sky access. Fishing when it is Raining with a plain old Fishing Rod the nibbles are as fast as at least Lure 2.

Tip for fellow iPhone users, you can use IPhone’s “recipe” feature for an auto clicker, it’s a bit weird to set up but I have mine so where I just spam click anywhere on my phone for a few minutes, then it’ll auto click every 4 seconds for a few hours

Does anyone know, is it actually better to get Lure 3 and Luck of the sea 3 to get more treasure things, or only Luck of the sea 3? I hear that lure decreases treasures, but gets you more items at a time, and actually I don't know which way is more useful when I need lots of treasure stuff.

Lure increases the rate of items means you will get more items in a minute than without. While luck of the sea increases the chance of getting treasure items per fish. So lure increases speed while luck increases luck and combination of both is the best as you'll get more fishes per minute and each will have higher chance of being treasure

Does this only work with an autoclicker, tried to test out my build a fe w times manually and getting nothing... only difference I can see is that my hopper did not have any green arrow on it when placed in front of the chest? - Just checked my hopper and it has stuff, so why wont it feed my chest, just pointing wrong way somehow? - GAR didnt click correctly when placing hopper so after digging out and moving the chest to all corners, lol, I placed back into original spot, emptied the hopper and replaced it, now working like a champ, THANKS

Any reason it may not work on a realm? I have different types of fish farms on my normal worlds and they work. But in the one with lava it just burns the fish and the hopper minecraft doesn’t pick it up 🤔

Was trying to build this and my very first couple of catches was a fishing rod with unbreaking 3 luck 3 lure 3 curse of vanishing and mending. My God! Also right after that a bow dropped with unbreaking 3 flame 1 punch 2 power 4 and INFINITY. Yo I think fishing is broken.

When testing the million fish, were they all in that one block of water? I’m wondering if more source blocks with their own fish would affect it more. It’s not like someone using this would be hurting for space.

If I remember correctly from a past video one fish checks the box that the fishing spot is an ocean. So the results would be the same.

I honestly just need alot of name tags. Don't need anything else really. Replace the slap infront of the fish with a solid block. That will prevent the fish from jumping out.

Help! This farm was working very good,it gave me 5 double chest wroth of loot but now it only gives me 1 or 2 chests worth of loot,can u please tell me how to increase the loot

When I cast my rod it immediately goes down it will touch the pressure plate for a second and then It goes down and I don't get anything plz help
