tip for draining - place sand blocks on bottom slabs, this way after draining tearing down sand walls is a breeze as only bottom sand block needs to be destroyed and other drop as entities

Is it just me that just added a dispenser with its own line to the top afk platform and used the regular nether/overworld lever. A button with a t-flip for glowstone to indicate that the water is in the spawn spot. Like silent made it seem so difficult and thats what he told us to do in his Advanced trident killer tutorial.

You can control guardians spawning with solid blocks on y=60 and y=62. This prevents guardian from spawning perfectly, and allows them when we remove y=62 block with sticky piston.

Would you be able to use your old trident killers from your advanced guardian farm but with a trapdoor instead of a slab? Note I intend to use the overworld only version.

you would actually only need one of your portal/trident-killer modules, if you build pillars reaching from the oceanfloor up to the waterlevel on every single spawnpoint but one. this will make the game spawn all guardians at one spot. build this in my testworld, it works! all you need is an single netherportal to achieve the same rates, when you send the guardians to the nether. if you block all other spawnpoints that way, the maximum ammount of guardians, the game can spawn, will spawn on that single spot and get flushed in that one singel portal. the mob-cap gets cleared and more guardians will spawn in :)

by the way i‘m referring to nethermode here. i‘m using a single spawnspot in the overworld. might be faster to use multiple tridentkillers in the overworld. as for the nether: one single portal serms to be enough

Cheaty furnaces can help you mend your stuff. Slack and foxy can explain it. I think I have seen other TB players use it too. It is glitch based but still really useful.

@thibault several hours of livestream. villagers probably took us 30 hours between us, and the majority of that trading was in a 12 hour session, 8+ of which was streamed, because the update was supposed to break the spawner causing 1 emerald trades thing. One thing I did to make it easier was breed and assign them jobs elsewhere, then ship them to the hall, then I only finally gave them stations at the hall once *everyone* was in so that I could just slap down the stations and see who reacted. I only had one de-sync and steal someone else's spot that way, thankfully. Honestly I can only get through this kind of grind work via livestreams or by listening to an audiobook/video/podcast. And I wouldn't have done it if the villagers were *just* for me - I'd have like, Efficiency, Mending, and a bunch of masons then XD but because the three of us have been kind of sharing farms to help get resources faster, it's worth it - this is my contribution like how Silent's made the guardian farm and the sortress :D

@silentwhisper, I feel like I’m missing something with this build. I built your advanced version from the previous build and it did exactly what you wanted. Linking the red stone line from the on switch meant that you had both kill methods and the water turns off every other ‘on’ of the system. Because the dispenser only spits out or collects water when the red stone was powered a double flick of the switch turned it on or off. Essentially, red stone off and trident killer on, no water. Turned on, nether portals active with water. Turned off, water still out so trident killer working. Turned on again to portal mode but the water now collected so no spawning. Doesn’t this solve the problem without any redesign? I feel like I’m missing something but your first design does exactly what you need?

@@kailongstaff1936 maybe but i don't see what silent can improve If You want a super fast general mob farm or creeper farm there is already General mob farm=167k drops per hour Creeper farm=36k gunpowder per hour(you could get more with the new spawn range on sim6 and ice floor) You want a efficient creeper farm? There is one that produces 10k gundpowder per hour and is also not to expensive and not too big So i don't know what you are waiting for but you do you

Bug: Armor stands are real.... one more example: Break them with a sword with fire aspect and you won't get the armor stand back. One more bug if you are at your last slot in hotbar and open chat you will switch to the 8th one. Idk why :(
