Watching Lora is so absolutely inspiring- she is beautiful, real and someone everybody can relate to! Thank you for having her and I cannot wait for her to make another appearance. It has given me courage to try sewing myself.

What another great video. Your explanations combined with Lora’s telling us how she implemented the tips was very helpful. I am close to Lora’s size so it is nice to see how your patterns look on her body type. Thanks Lora!

It was great to see Laura back! I’ve lost a lot of weight over the past 6 months, and nothing in my closet fits, except some jeans that I had to go out and buy. I’m not a shopper. I don’t work outside the home, but I do like to dress nicely (not dresses) when my husband and I go out. How do I decide what size to start with on my muslin? I’m just starting with your system, and I don’t know how when nothing in my closet fits.

Love the black top Lora's wearing. Like to see how she made that.

Question, when you alter the the outer layer of your pattern, do you also alter the lining?

What happens if the cup size is bigger than a D?
@SilhouettePeeps6 жыл бұрын
Start with the D cup.
@Iamgone19616 жыл бұрын
Yes, thank you, I do, how do I go bigger and not mess up the princess seam?
@SilhouettePeeps6 жыл бұрын
I did that with the dart on the side panel...if you watch I explain that and how to fix.
@dianadivadiamond6 жыл бұрын
At what point of the jacket do you put the dart? Thanks so much.
@SilhouettePeeps6 жыл бұрын
not sure of this question? the darts are built into the garment in the muslin process.

I bought an oversized dress and want to take in the oversized armholes and shoulders but leave the rest the same since it's gathered around the waist. Is this possible? The material is stretch jersey.

When you are wearing dark colored clothing and standing in front of the bookcase, I can't see the edges of your garment. Please stand in front of a contrasting color, either the wall or a light fabric drape over the bookcase.

Thank you all! Wonderful video. Last week was my pattern epiphany. I was sewing the 5w. Switched to the 4 for the upper bodice but I needed the 5 for my tummy circumference. What a blessing to have all the pieces in one package and a generous teacher as well. Hugs☺️.

Hi Peggy. I totally enjoyed watching this video. Very informative. I don't get patterns to buy cuz they're too expensive but I draft my patterns and some of the adjustments you made, made a lot of sense. I also love all of those jackets that my lady made also her choice of colour and fabric. Fantastic job. At what point of the jacket do

I have spent 40 years making patterns, and I sell them at $10-$15. I feel that is a bargain so I am sorry you feel the way you do, but I respect your feelings..
