We are in the difficult semi final, AND she is opening the entire competition which as we all know is an honour but at the same time terrible for qualifying. A double edge sword. She is really good however! I am impressed with her vocals and dancing.

Just comparing two dance songs: Austria and this one... Austria can't fully dance because if she does she couldn't sing, but the problem is even then she doesn't really dance she is still vocally bad. But here - active dancing and very good vocals at the same time.

Any source? The fact that Marina and her team chose to not participate in the pre parties doesn't mean that ERT specifally didn't allow them to do so (let's don't forget that Marina's song wasn't ready till early february so the rehearsals for the staging were significantly delayed in comparison to other participants). And Foureira in 2019 didn't participate in the pre parties at all, every delegation handles the project differently according to their needs. Also her father died less than two weeks ago and you'd expect to partipate at this pre party? Nonsense...

It’s ready for some time now lol. They don’t do the ESC staging here either, she could just be herself with no choreo (nobody cares about staging at preparties). And her father’s death is irrelevant. They never confirmed participation (and later cancelled) nor did they participate in pre parties before he passed. She wouldn’t have gone regardless. And in any case I’m talking about generally snubbing them. Oh and a funny stat that says the truth though: no ESC winner in the recent years has missed the pre party. Even Kalush Orchestra went to some.

Pre-parties are a good way for the participants to be exposed to the audience and be less stressed during the final show, nothing more (Foureira would finish 2nd anyway) Now regarding ERT's envolvment, i think it has to do with the participant's team and not them. Evangelinos staged the 2017, 2021, 2022 and 2024 entries (none of them participated in any pre parties). In 2019 for example katerine duska with a different team participated in 2 of them if i remember correctly. Then Yanna in 2018 had the same label and choreographer with foureira and both teams decided to skip the pre parties. It has to do with the programming of each delegation, not if the national broadcaster is prohibiting them. Some eurofuns always act like they know everything just to gain some attention

@@syl17able it's no obsession, it's something you look for when Eurovision comes around. It's that someone who will stand out from the rest. Many singers perform popular songs even those that aren't considered pop artists. When you're in the music industry your fan base are your listeners, they are who will support you through your career , if they don't like your voice, music or what you bring to the stage you can easily see yourself at the bottom of the charts or moving to a different career path all together. It's happened to many an example those singers who had one hit wonders whose other songs were either a flop or whose other songs weren't what the listeners liked.
