Love your results! I have the entire system from 0-8. I love them all except the conditioner and the bonding smoothing product. They do nothing for me. I have 4b/4c hair. I go between a silk press (which I do myself) and crochet (which I also do myself). Olaplex really has helped my hair retain its length since the breakage has slowed down significantly since using it. I will continue to purchase this. I will invest in a steamer. I had one years ago when I first went natural but need a new one.

I love Olaplex. I actually really like the #0 and #3 together. I have been using olaplex for about a year and there shampoo is my favorite. It's the only shampoo I use now unless I'm clarifying.

Outside of getting pampered you don't even need to go to the salon anymore, just spend the money on Olaplex. They work well together so keep using it all together. Your hair looks wonderful and healthy!

It’s results like these that make me wish I had played more with straightening my hair before I loc’d it - I used to have the hardest time getting it all the way straight without majorrrrr heat and then keeping it from reverting like immediately after 😂, so I wonder if some of these techniques/products might’ve helped 😍 your hair turned out great and the olaplex line has definitely intrigued me, nice to see some of the steps in actual use.

Oleplex are pricey but well worth it. I use them every month.

You should leave the #3 on for at least 30 minutes to get the best results. You want to give it time for the bond multipliers to get absorbed. Especially at that price point 10 minutes is a waste. When pressing the hair getting your hair straighter with the blow dyer, which is preferred because its lower heat, by spending a little more time on each section and stretching it with your hand as you pass the brush down the section, you will be able to get it straighter and reduce some of the volume. Then you will only need 1 pass only with the flat iron. This will go a long way for protecting the hair integrity and maintaining natural texture, even if you are only doing it once a month or less :-)

I’ve been on the fence abt purchasing a steamer. I know the benefits but I don’t want to waste money on one that isn’t good from Amazon. Lol. I’m intrigued by Olaplex and this video made me out most of the line in my cart. But will I click purchase? I’m curious to see how long your at-home silk press lasts. Hopefully you will do an update. I press my hair weekly and have for years. My curls have not been sacrificed. Heat protectant is key, as well as regular deep conditioning. You did a good job Lia. It definitely helps save coins instead of going to the salon. But don’t totally give up your appointments…trims are a must.

🇬🇧 🙋🏾‍♀️ I have Olaplex. Yes a little goes a long way. Using lots of it won't do anything more for your hair, just your pocket! 💰😉 Follow the instructions. Leaving it on for ages won't make it work better! Its molecules and works quickly. I wash my hair weekly and have had my set more than 6months....👌🏾❤️💜❤️

My hair comes out if I use anything but Olive Oil or Gentle Treatment. I think I have 2B hair but don’t really know. Wonder if the Olaplex could work for me.
