Saw them in Vegas and this is the opening song - soooo yeah, it set off the rest of the concert. No one sat down for the whole concert. The energy and vibe was off the charts!

I love your reactions! You should totally listen to 777 and any other song you haven’t heard from the album. It’s a concept so they go to Vegas after the breakup ( Put on a Smile ). 777 is the 7th track, an ode to Vegas and Michael Jackson who loved the number and wore on his sleeve ( google will show many images ) and inspires Anderson’s “moonwalk to the money like a Mike Jack” and “Man in the Mirror says go on and get your paper 💵” That jazzy bit at the end they threw in famous 90’s ( ‘89?) house music Hot Music by SOHO. Love the work and love for their craft and all the amazing musicianship from everyone on that stage. Best band performing right now.

The second time for Silk Sonic to perform their song on live tv for the first at the Grammys! They did it with Leave the Door Open last year. Gutsy!

The lyric you were looking for is"...Imma buy Las Vegas after this roll, imma buy Las Vegas after this roll...7!-7!-7!... LET'S GOOOO!!!!..." The Jazz music break that you heard is actually a House music jam that was inspired by a jazz tune. The tune is 'Skin's Domain' by one of the Marsalis brothers. What makes it relevant is the James Brown spin that they put on it, which is woven into the song itself. The second relevant thing is that a 2nd generation Marsalis is playing in their horn section. The House music interlude was from a song, called 'Hot Music' by Soho. Check it out.

Um... I LOVE Silk SOnic...and their live shows are the BOMB! But...this one...Anderson was caught multiple times NOT "Singing" when his voice was clearly playing. I would have thought it was a glitch with the delay that is common when you are singing through big systems BUT..Bruno was perfectly on point and Anderson was on parts. But His first few lines at the beginning- Anderson was sitting there smiling while his voice was clearly coming through the speakers. Don't get me wrong, what was coming through the speakers was awesome but Anderson...this is the Grammy Awards. You shoulda worked out that lip sync as well as Bruno did. Singers notice when the vocals and the lips don't match up. That said He played the HELL out of those drums,

The next move is for it to be shown in Fiji, which is located in the South Pacific Ocean on April 21st and in Canada on April 29th and in Ireland and Northern Ireland on the same day as Canada’s and in Australia at a later date. After the theater deals are finished it will have a worldwide release via movie streaming platforms ❤️😃
