This is a classic Carol Burnett and Beverly Sills...mostly lost on the generation today....so happy to see the original stage version...❤

It takes real guts for anyone to sing next to Sills and I am including many of the greats and near greats in classical singing. Its enough to depress anyone, but Carol, who has a fine alto voice (compare with so many she has done duets with) just decides to relax, and have fun with the idea.

Why hasn't this been released on DVD? Great entertainment we need this with this world that is in such turmoil

I've been looking for the "Only an Octave Apart" for ages! I remember seeing it at the time and loved it. Hope to do it with my soprano friend.

I loved Beverly Sills! She was such a fantastic talk show guest. I remember her on Dinah! and from the Merv Griffin Show. "Bubbles" was truly an apt knickname.
