I kinda wondered how the game's internal logic would handle this considering it understands and agrees that you are landed on one planet, which seems like a seamless procedural sequence but in reality is still just a "loading screen" between "in space" and "in atmosphere" The logic is made abhorrently apparent when you approach the offending planet on foot, the logic cannot comprehend you skipping the "loading screen" sequence between "in space" and "in atmosphere" so it cannot understand how you arrived on the surface of the second planet, but attempts to anyway, throwing you in limbo between both planets. Also funnily enough the LOD of the second planet never changes for the same reason.

I found something like this with a moon basically in the atmosphere of a much larger planet. Flying was ok near the moon but landing and takeoff was a little awkward untill I built some landing pads. When on the surface of the moon, all the gravity pulls horizontally (its hard to explain), but basically, if you jump, you will start falling towards the horizon. And because you can fall forever and the gravity is super light on the moon, your jetpack will almost always recharge before you hit the surface, meaning you can either fall forever to travel down, or fly upwards/sideways to get anywhere on the moon. I had to build my base perpendicular to the surface of the moon, and it actually looks pretty dope. I'll send the coordinates if anyone wants them. You can also just fly away from the moon because of the low gravity. I have a pretty dope picture of my character floating halfway between the moon and the planet in open space with the sun behind my character splitting the two bodies I was floating between. Which really makes me wish we could exit our ships in space and build on astroids and shit.

I actually think I may have the same thing. I find it really hard to play certain games, No Man’s Sky being one of them, the 3D Ecco the Dolphin on Dreamcast/PS2, and others because of it. I just never knew it had a name for it. I always get cold sweats and have to look away/close my eyes when I approach a planet or anything, or if a planet comes into view. Watching this video was really hard as well, I kept having to minimize it on my phone so I wouldn’t freak out. Also, being underwater in games really freaks me out to the point that I can’t play.

@@spode2091 Yeah, it's weird. I physically can't play Subnautica or anything involving a lot of underwater parts unless I know ahead of time what's in there. Like the water levels in Duke Nukem: Land of the Babes are easy for me to do, but stuff like Subnautica and Ecco the Dolphin on Dreamcast/PS2 I really can't play. It terrifies the hell out of me.

Actually a collision with another planet already happened to the Earth, and it was not so peaceful... It was named Theia, and with the force of the impact it literally liquefied the earth crust, and a big part of it merged with the Earth while the rest - with a part of the earth crust - remained in orbit of the Earth and became later the Moon. That's why the composition of the Earth and the Moon are so similar. You can see an amazing video showing how it might have looked like: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIe1hZqKiribebM

They have done pretty much anything they promised to do on release. They could've gotten away with their money or even charge you extra for any update like activision, ea or Microsoft. I think they did all they have promised and (though obviously too late) actually have earned a break from all the hate. Go hate something that's actually bad like Fifa or Battlefield, damn

@@danielllitpek2014 I'm not hating, my guy. I know the game is good and the devs listen. All I'm saying is the game had so much more potential. The hype was INSANE pre-release. Then it died off. If this game had the community that other games have (such as Fortnite), it would be so much fun.
