Silly Opinions, Questions, and "Advice" About My Lifted Truck

I've had A TON of conversations with various people about my truck. Most of it has been good, but some of it has been lame or funny. I put out this video for my subscribers to have a laugh. Enjoy.

I love your truck. On my 2018 Tundra I also had the Fender Flares. A quick idea to make it match the black accents, you should spray paint each and every small screws/bolts that are attached on the fender flares. I did it and it made it look much better! How I did it was remove them one by one. Then I stuck them in some styrofoam cooler to hold, and I spray painted them all. Did about 3 layers of flat black spray paint. And let dry completely. Finally put them back on. You will love it 👍🏻.

Keep it up. I will be starting on my 2017 Tundra later this summer. I love your ideas and your thoughts. I plan to build a truck to go fishing on the beach and camping in the mountains. I am 61 years young and I am like a kid knowing what I am going to do. Make it your own.

I have a 21 Tundra on lease. I plan to do many of the same mods you have after I purchase my lease. Paid 83 US dollars to fill up my Tundra today. 30 gallons (113 liters). I can't imagine the pain at the pump yall must have up in Canada.

Hey, man! I hope you have fun making your Tundra your own! The gas prices have definitely come down in the last 6 months. Some parts of Canada are really bad, others are okay. I live in the province of Alberta. We drill here, and there are refineries here, so the price is better for us.

Yeah, I've always like the NFab step-up bars. I had them on the 4Runner as well. The installation is pretty easy, but have a second person with you to make the job quicker.

Im thinking doing a 6inch lift but my garage is 86" tall. Do you know how tall your truck from the ground up? Your truck has a clean build btw..

Thanks, Man! I appreciate that. You're in luck. The standard height for the vast majority of garage door openings is 86" (or 7'). Mine is 86" and the truck fits in the garage, height-wise. It's too long for the garage, so I can't park it there, but height-wise, it will work. Here's an easy way to check. Park your truck half way out of the garage (under the opening). Take a ruler or measuring tape, and measure 6" above the truck. More than likely that extra 6" will still be underneath the garage opening.
