We've done some hard Pokemon challenges in the past, but usually they were a solo or monotype Pokemon challenge run. What if we still did a really difficult challenge... but using hardcore nuzlocke rules, and with only a Pokemon character's best team as a theme team nuzlocke? Today we find out: can Blaine's Best Team Beat a hardcore nuzlocke of Pokemon White!?

Character Best Team Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
(1) If a Pokémon faints, it must be permanently boxed or released.
(2) Only one encounter per badge obtained.
(3) No Legendaries/Mythicals, duplicates, or same-evolution-line Pokémon can be caught or used. If a duplicate is encountered, the next unique type-specific Pokémon encounter can be caught.
(4) Additional Pokémon may be caught for the purpose of HM use, but these may not be used in battle at any time during the run.
(5) No Items can be used in battle (Held Items are allowed).
(6) Party Pokémon levels are limited to the highest level Pokémon of the next Gym Leader or Elite 4 Member. So long as your Pokémon are at or below the level cap when the Gym Leader/Elite 4 Member battle starts, they can level up mid-battle.
(7) "Set" Battle Mode must be used at all times.
(8) No connecting with other games for the purposes of importing Pokémon, Items, etc.

We all make mistakes/ forget things now and then… I doubt too many use flame burst enough to remember that fact about it… Not a move I ever bother with- so if I did use it, I might forget it can’t burn like most moves… Actually it’s news to me BECAUSE I turn my nose up to it…

Honestly I'm so happy you've brought back the True Strength series in such a seamless way into your nuzlocke runs. Blaine has one of the more versatile teams at least in terms of the available fire types by the time the World Tournament teams were made. On another note, I can't endorse Better help for the sheer lack of professionalism especially in terms of client confidentiality. I can't in good conscience ask anyone to use their services knowing they sell their clients sensitive information even after explicitly stating in their own agreements that they wouldn't. Using mental health as a selling point for a whole generation of vulnerable people who are willing to pay for peace... Yeah. I'll save my money and my personal info thanks. But everything else Silph endorses I can and will always support. Got me wanting to get healthy from the old meal prep ads. Please try to go back to sponsorships from them. Cognitive behavioral therapy is very important as is dialectic behavioral therapy for other unprocessed traumas. I have PTSD, severe depression and severe anxiety. Therapy definitely helped save my life

That special rival dialogue basically outed another Poketuber as a big phony in his Pokemon BW damageless run because Bianca is actually scripted to use a damaging move in the first turn of her first battle. He claimed he had to reset for 40 hours until she used Tail Whip or whatever but suspiciously didn't have any video proof of it and then dozens of comments called him out on it. Couldn't keep watching him after that.

You should do a run where the encounters you can use are 2 random pokemon from each elite 4 member and the champion of the region. Gen 1 would be cool because you could get dragonite, but you could also end up with onix or some second stages
