This was actually the first UFC I attended. It was amazing! I went in hating Chael and left respecting the hell outta him. I thought he was all talk and Silva would destroy him but he proved me wrong. Also one of the greatest comeback finishes ever!!

This was the first UFC fight I ever went to, it's a memory I'll never forget. The atmosphere was unbelievable I still haven't seen anything else like it. I was a HUGE Matt Hughes fan at the time and I lost my shit when he dropped Almeida and then choked him unconscious. Also, I can still hear the sound of JDS punching Big Country into oblivion. Sounded like he was getting smacked in the head with a bat over and over

This was the first ppv I had bought since around when Liddell lost his title and then Randy went on another one of his hiatus away from the company I simply lost interest until Sonnen came and not only sold this fight but brought excitement to a stale 185 division & had a key role in elevating Anderson to Icon status and one of the greatest mma rivalries ever.

jiu jitsu saved silva because chael couldn't get over it. Like, wrestling got him into the best positions he just didn't know what to do with them. He even had a good choke at some point that he himself messed up

For all those that say Chael was a horrible striker, watch this fight or his fight with Bisping. He was very competitive on the feet with the GOAT striker. Look what Anderson did to Griffin, he couldn't do that to Chael in over half an hour.
