I like how Asta has good terms with House Vermillion. Mimosa is in love with Asta, Kirsch views Asta as a worthy opponent and ally, Leopold claimed Asta as his rival, Feugeleon defends Asta from the insults of the other royals, and Mereoleona respects Asta's potential and protects him from the elves. Asta already has some strong connections at court with one of the royal families on his side.

I've just come to wonder if naming someone as your rival means you're best friends for life in this anime? I mean right now, even though there's that established clash of class difference, Leo ignores such and declares Asta his rival and they instantly become chummy friends before they battle the storm. Nozel later tells Asta that he's his rival too, but they're buddies working on a team. We can definitely acknowledge Yuno's "rivalry" with Asta too haha! Granted, the competition is really in strength and skills in battles and protecting the people, and making right decisions. As Julius said, "Merit." Haha!
