Seriously, the best way to learn is watching and listening and transcribing the work of musicians you like. I’ve always thought learning by tablature is more limiting than it is instructional. Just my opinion though, not trying to be offensive.

Not any longer - the Lewitt DGT 650 did not have an update for the latest iOS, so it's basically ineffective for me now. I currently use an Apogee Hype Mic, a really incredible mic for these situations. You can check out "Liam's Lullaby" on my page and hear the Apogee.
