I watched a video a while ago where someone used the abbreviation of EDS to mean Eating disorder syndrome. And that's understandable to me. However I was on a waiting list to see a genetic DR to see if I have EDS aka Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which I believe is what you are referring to in this video. I didn't know about that silver clay could be absorbed into the skin. I also didn't know how hard it would be to meet with a Dr to get tested for EDS. I still want to see what all I can make with silver metal clay though? This is one of the most intriguing things I've ever looked into. Thank you for putting together such a concise video.

@@EmorettaRobinson Ehlers Danlos, yes! Good to know that acronym has multiple meanings. I wear gloves often now when I work. Tight fitting exam gloves don’t seem to affect most of the things I want to do. I even wash the gloves (wash my hands with them on) and then take them off to dry and reuse them because personally I struggle with the idea of using new pair gloves every time I work. I used to work for hours and hours my hands covered in clay without washing them - not a great idea anyway with any material. I now urge frequent hand washing.

@@BlueDotJewelry I'm conflicted. I'm glad that what I know as EDS is what you were referring to. But I wish EDS wasn't a thing. Also I think that your practice of washing the gloves for possible re-use is a wise thing. And I commend you for that. I'm not conflicted about that though.

I heard they stopped manufacturing precious metal clay in 2023. 🥺

Mitsubishi stopped manufacturing PMC3, which was the original and a lot of peoples' favorite, including myself. But there are other brands, and new ones have some out since their closure. Phew!
