I purchase accumulated four 500-grams Silver Bars, two ten oz. Silver Bars, one 250-grams Silver Bar and there all from Germania Mint. I have other Silver Bars and Silver Coins, but these are my favorite Silver P.M. I like holding them in my hands and feeling the magical powers that they hold, really Cool. Haven't got Scottsdale Mint yet, but I do see them in my future. Thank You Sir.

Love it !!! I have 1x 10 ounce Germania bar and 2 x 100 grams. I wonder if we’ll have another dip during the Chinese new year it might be another good time to keep our powder dry until then. And then again when they increase the interest rates in the spring!

I have one of the Scottsdale 5 oz ingots like you have in the video. I bought it when silver dropped from $19 to $12 in 2020 I believe due to the pandemic and monument metals literally sold out of everything in its entire inventory. I think I paid about $75 for it. Now that’s a deal lol. I wouldn’t mind parting with it. No sentimental value on it. Just super cheap silver during a moment of luck. Be well bean

Question, I found some 5oz Scottsdale stacker lion head rounds at my LCS this weekend. The guy helping me quoted $27 per oz, so I was considering scooping up one or two. But then a different employee walked up and said, “those are $30 per oz!” I told them nah, no way I can buy them direct from Scottsdale for that price. Especially that they were is toned/discolored condition. I told them I’d get them clean and shiny for that price. Was I wrong??? I didn’t buy any, I left there a bit upset that they changed my prices mid purchase, but whatever. I only bought one generic round as a gift for a friend. I’m finding myself buying less and less from my LCS as they tend to want more than most only pricing, that use to be the opposite. Anyone’s thoughts are welcomed.

There are so many new buyers coming in to the market that coin shops are able to get away with over pricing. And I'd wager they only paid spot for those rounds. Maybe $1 over, maybe $1 under. You were right to walk out. I do that often myself. The majority of the bullion I buy is online.

@@silverbeancounter Yea it’s just funny because I am in there weekly sometimes couple times a weeks. So they know me well and usually work with me so I was surprise they did that. She was like, “uh huh you tried to rape us, you knew they go for 30 per oz.” I just laughed and said yea like new straight from that mint, not all toned and rough looking. I told her but since we’re talking about rape, I bet if I walked in here with those same pieces right now for sale you’d offer me below spot as “generic silver”, right. Lol it was a funny experience, but oh well, I like those folks there and will be back. Just wondered if I was being a bit of a jerk. The guy helping me was like that’s it after all this time all you’re spending is $32 for one piece, bought another over priced trump coin as a Bday gift. I said yea you can Thank your friend for ruining that sale of 40+ oz I was about to buy. 😂

@@guy8304 there is always a premium for physical precious metals. If you buy it with the expectation that you want to sell it in a year or two, then I would not buy. But if you expect to hold for many years, then that 13 percent is negligible. Especially at current inflation rates and at the current pace of fiat devaluation. Other benefits include those periods of time when the gold silver ratio tightens and you have opportunity to trade silver for gold.
