If I plan on doing this kind of riding would a 450 be crazy to start on?

It depends, I started just fine on a 450. But I did a lot of research/ time just watching KZbin videos on riding. To some people it's crazy to start on a 450 but it's really about you and if you can ride a 450, a 250 would do just fine in the dunes

yup i have a 2023 kx250x and it was rubbing against my exhaust and now i have scratches on it now :/
