You need to have centrifuge it and then a process of filtration and drying exists. It is a common process. Almost every kind of hydrothermal process has these steps.

It's an interesting question, but for the reduction of Ag nanoparticles, no chemical species is used. 2ndly, AgNO3 itself doesn't produce any environmentally hazardous product.
