That is a huge premium! Thanks for the heads up. I'll stick to my LCS for now.

something is up and its not the price of silver. what is happening is that silver is cheap and people are taking advantage of it. wake up its as simple as that.

It takes 13.8 mercury dimes to equal 1 troy oz.... When there is a shortage of 5, 10, Kilo, and 100 oz. bars, then I will believe there is a shortage.... Mercury dimes are such a small percentage of the market, it would be hard to equate a shortage of dimes to a shortage of silver.... I've noticed all online bullion dealers charge ridiculous prices for 90% silver. I can get it cheaper at my local coin shop. Another reason mercs are running dry is because the design is liked by most numismatic collectors. It is my favorite design of any coin, and I have been collecting them since I was 8. In 2016 they are supposed to reproduce the merc as a .999 1/10th oz. gold piece for the 100th anniversary... It was designed by Adolph Weinman, the same sculptor who designed the walking liberty half, another crowd pleasing coin.... I love mercs, but I wouldn't pay a penny over spot for them, unless they are AU/BU. Silver is silver, and if you are looking for 90% weight just buy the rosies. They are cheaper, and I don't think a dealer will pay any more if you have the mercs.... One downside of dimes.... When it comes time to turn them into cash, be prepared to sit and count/stack them, and make sure to bring your calculator... Trust me I know. That's why I stack rounds/bars and collect dimes. I won't sell my collection, but when it comes time to turn in your silver, it is much easier to slap some 10 oz. bars on the table... It makes things so simple.

AlmostCirculated True, there's no silver shortage in general (yet), but Mercury dimes as you probably know are very popular in the Numismatic and Stacker communities.I was at the Long Beach Expo Recently and spoke with several Dealers that said they were becoming much harder to find in bulk amounts and now this claim is evidenced in the Online Bullion dealers supply offerings, ive never seen this before and find it very interesting.... it could be a "tell" of things coming or not - Sometimes there are tremors before a large earthquake - I guess we'll see -Thanks for watching.

I think Silver and Gold are under valued big time...And will be happy to keep buying on way down. There are lots of Mercury dimes...still they only made so many. One Billionaire could buy them all, Silver is so cheap!

Silver has been getting crushed lately. But don't let the manipulation scare you. Keep calm and stack on

***** couldn't agree more, ignore the fake paper price and observe what the actual Physical Silver is selling for -the price is higher now at 14.80 silver than it was when spot was 16.50.
@kurt64109 жыл бұрын
Silveready1 paper price means nothing. it's the physical that counts. if you don't hold it you don't own it. keep stacking
