Exactly, four and 13 is not good enough for the silver and black. If you wanna remain with the silver and black, you better win 89 gain minimum because we are supposedly a commitment to excellence rather than a commitment to mediocrity

It’s the right call. I know we need stability but I don’t even know who gets credit for our above average defense. For real might be PG.

The QB from Ohio state is looking really really good. I’d definitely take him in the 2nd or 3rd round
@coreykuhl30792 сағат бұрын
I’ve been watching his tape this week. He is a dude. Big, strong arm, mobile (not Jackson but Allen) he is currently a 5th or 6th round grade, but as he continues through the CFP and the all star game and combine etc…. He could sneak into the top of the 2nd or bottom of the 1st.

it was about time he was trash in the start......0-6 in the division no way no love lost for him gone.
@coreykuhl30792 сағат бұрын
That’s the point, the fact that he was going to need to get another defensive coordinator and another offensive coordinator did not set up well for him because who’s going to want to come work for a lame duck coach who they know is one and done in this next year if they don’t have a winning record, nobody wants to sign on for that
@divatamer19417 сағат бұрын
Look. Men have to accept the bottom line. Period. Due to the losses, him being canned is not a surprise. And I LOVE the Brock Bowers pick. But, sending A.P. into this season with Minshew and AOC at the helm was not AP's fault. Letting Josh Jacobs go, with the stellar rushing lawfirm of Abdullah, White, and whoever else was ALSO not AP's call. The PLAGUE of injuries? And I do mean PLAGUE, also not AP's fault. Getsy? Not AP's first choice. I remember him not being his SECOND choice. He was the only choice left. Having your #1 receiver create a shitstorm because he saw Minshew was garbage? Now that is AP's fault. But all these decisions aren't a coaches to make. Some of them fall on Telesco. He's the GM. AP wanted Daniels and we can see why. It should have been pursued to the ends of the earth and back. Everyone has a price, but Coupon Tom couldn't be bothered. All these variables taken into account, THERE'S NO COACH IN THE NFL that would have succeeded. But in Raider fashion, the fans demand heads roll, and the front office and owner continue to make us the most embarrassing team in the league. And it will continue as long as baby Davis is at the helm.
@SeventhSonofASeventhSon7716 сағат бұрын
I would say Getsy was the key losing factor, because even with the crazy amount of injury that hit the defense, they were holding up good enough to support an even halfway effective offense, which we didn't have. Not too many QBs would have succeeded under Getsy's inability to manage the offense beyond the first couple of drives, his strength was pretty clearly in-week prep... the guy couldn't adjust in-game to save his life.... That's what sunk him. Neither Minshew, who people seem to forget was a pro-bowler last year, or AOC, had a real chance with him at OC... If you notice, the moment 'Turner & Turner' took control of the offense it started looking much better no matter who the QB was. Letting Jacobs go was indeed stupid. Then again, with play-calling being the way it was, I don't think it would have mattered in the end, as it didn't with the backs we DID retain. Now, you can blame Telesco for Getsy if you want, but recall it was Mark Davis that signed AP to only a two year deal... And it was the fact that he only had a two year deal that was the reason Kingsbury backed-out. ... So, why wasn't Turner the guy from the start? ... That one is probably on AP actually. Granted, it didn't help AP 'liking' that social media post about DA getting traded, but DIVAnte became a problem because they were losing, which again, falls largely on Getsy... Notice he didn't request a trade until it was evident they were going to be having a losing record for the season?... That's a very telling detail as to his thought process, and frankly, his character as a man. If you ask me, he had been angry ever since they lured him from Green Bay, with Carr as the bait, only to release Carr because Carr was exposing McDaniels' bad play-calls with simple line-of-scrimmage audibles.... Failing to properly manage the offense was the real issue here. Receivers don't care as long as they're getting the ball, and I think Turner would have done that, even with Minshew under center... We have after all seen him do it before on other teams. Jayden Daniels was never an option, I'm not sure why anyone ever thought he was going to be.... Neither of the top two teams in that draft were going to budge from their draft position, they made that very clear, that's the simple fact of the matter. If she says no, she said no, you've got to respect it, there was no 'ends of the earth' pursuit possible... Hell, we couldn't even get Nix or Penix, let alone one of the top two options. AND we ended up with Brock Bowers because of that, a generational talent, perhaps the best player in the entire draft, in a year we were unlikely to win the Super Bowl, so I'll take that pick. I was supporting AP on a gamble year as much as anyone, because letting him go would have collapsed the locker room, but the guy fired himself. He was clearly in over his head, and I think even before mid-season, he knew it... from the big things like not knowing when to pull the plug on Getsy, down to the small things, like not knowing when to call timeouts or prompt a hurry-up offense. The real mistake Davis made was caving to the anti-Gruden pressure, because Gruden, like him or not, had his team on a playoff trajectory, even with his 'horrible' drafting that really wasn't as horrible as people let on, when it's considered what he was able to do with them... Arnette and Leatherwood I would say were the only truly stupid picks and one of those was all Mayock, by his own admission.

@SeventhSonofASeventhSon77 Lots of good stuff in there my guy. Good points to think about. The ones I'd like to focus on is Bowers. Go ahead and start sewing g his yellow jacket. Jesus. 5 or 6 more years of this he'll be a shoe in. And can we for once go get a young offensive mind like Cohen?

Right? We're going to end up with 75 year old Pete Carroll, on his way to the retirement home, or some gamble-unknown about on par with AP, because people don't like Gruden's in-private sense of humor, from like 15 years ago.... ... evidently Gruden is the only guy on earth that is incapable of changing over time, unworthy of any reformation or redemption... .... Evidently none of his critics have ever made any off-color jokes... Give me a break... He had the team on a playoff trajectory, with less talent than the current roster, in the same division with a perennial super bowl team coached by Andy Reid... Isn't that what you want out of your Head Coach?
@Truthsfinest14 сағат бұрын
Why all the hate for Gruden? He don’t draft well but he got the best out of Carr, Rendrow, and Waller. Look at there careers post Gruden. Gruden had players buying in and was moving in the right direction going 3-0 to start his last year with a big overtime win against Baltimore. Raider fans were actually dominating allegiant. I am not judging him based on stupid emails as he was obviously targeted by the agenda that took over our country the last 4 years. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Gruden would surprise everyone in a good way as long as he has a solid GM orchestrating the draft. We all have weaknesses.

I think the problem is who wants to come here just to get fired if not successful in one year. No one can. However just hear me out. Gruden has a chip on his shoulder his job was taken when he finally had the offense clicking 3-0. They knew that he was heading to the playoffs. Look what happened. Maybe with Brady we can finally move in an upward position and keep going forward. Not one step forward. Then three steps back. Let’s take a chance and allow time for our Raiders to build cohesiveness with who ever we have on the team. Just a thought
