man...i love these surreal melodies. that's what dan does best. he makes music that's equally avant-garde and surreal...AND equally poppy and classic. who does that anymore? who's ever done it this well? other than the beatles.

Contained in my cotton crib Where I feel no turbulence The ocean sleeps upon a shelf And it feeds my apathy But I can feel it in the night Like rain upon my skin inside a winter But you began to splinter If I decide to recognize my thorns 'Cause every time I see your face in a cloud I'll feel no violence So tilt the water 'til it turns me around To my own asylum Dry in the day, I'm fading away in the night I feel the sun before its light And it fades away into the night I was afraid I'll feed myself or clean the shelf And kill for shame But I can feel it in the night Collect the rocks and throw them overborders To shake the mighty waters And clear myself from hiding every thorn 'Cause every time I see your face in a cloud I'll feel no violence So tilt the water 'til it turns me around To my own asylum Dry in the day, I'm fading away And we grow For we gone away right out the window You're just a fool for him For him (x2) 'Cause every time I see your face in a cloud I'll feel no violence So tilt the water 'til it turns me around To my own asylum Dry in the day, I'm fading away (x3) In the night

Nossa, eu digo o mesmo. Minha banda favorita da vida. Show mais que perfeito...
@Williamsaje2 жыл бұрын
@PauloPiccoly6 ай бұрын
De fato foi a melhor performance da banda! Tudo muito bem elaborado e harmônico! Se tiver outro show ou DVD da banda que vocês conheçam que seja melhor do que esse, me falem, por favor! Pois até então, esse é o melhor!

It's like a lullaby for me and I always love it. And every time I listen and watch this video I feel like I'm listening to my favourite piano songs like A Comme Amour by Richard Clayderman, Ballade Pour Adeline, Marriage d' Amour and Amelie cover by Jacob's Piano. Thanks a lot for this great stress-reliever song Daniel. Keep safe brotha! 🙏✝️👍✌️♥️🤘

@Taylor Holloway this is very sad, the decay in musical terms, he became someone else, I don’t even know him anymore, I don’t know what he wants this DREAMS to be, he knows he’s not good, he knows his voice can’t sing anymore more silverchair songs, I think he surrendered to normal and easy music
@misscreativecontrol2 жыл бұрын
@@KMouta I disagree. I think his creativity has evolved passed your shoebox understanding of music and he is so ahead of his time he is moving too fast for people who are stuck in a timeless spin where they haven’t grown passed grunge and rock being silverchairs niche. Daniel is a profound talent and I adore every creative project he has touched especially his solo album Talk.

@@misscreativecontrol rock is not a phase it's a lifestyle, for him it was just a phase like any teenager at the time

@@KMouta you are making this about you when we are clearly talking about Daniel. His voice is and his capabilities are endless. Very excited to hear his new album coming out April 22. All on his terms without rock pigs and money hungry industry dogs trying to shove him back in that shoebox he has so clearly outgrown and moved on from. I love Silverchair but I love Daniel more and everything he has to offer this world creatively.
