RIGHT ON! damn i miss making the tv just play mtv for hours just to catch music that actually meant something, that actually was meant to hit something, music that had actually deeper meaning than just the shallow appearances and overdetailed socializing that kids lick and worship nowadays. the former teen headbanger became a bodybuilder, a pickup artist, a martial art student, a law grad and now a student of financial freedom.
@bellatibay67844 жыл бұрын
@@kodiejc4202 that's correct, it is precisely rage, you can use rage as motivation to do something difficult, especially if nobody around has done it before, once you complete it, it means you are the first who has done it. would you believe i used that rage to finish law, with nothing else as fuel, no alcohol, no vices, just the burning ferocity to accomplish something visible on the map? for a former teen headbanger with no lawyer in the family, like ever, that's quite a distance to cover.

I'll just clarify my comment. Back then people keep on referring Silverchair, STP, and some other bands as Nirvana copies. The grunge scene had brutal fans although it had a great community, well at least for the older more connected bands but with silverchair they were young upstarts and people keep on comparing them to nirvana which was kind of rubbing on to Johns and maybe some of his band members. And that's why I think he shuns their earlier albums. Just like what happened to Creed and Pearl jam. They all had great sounds there are just some people out there that has so much hate to throw at things or people you know.
@FlawedCoil827 жыл бұрын
It is far easier for me to pretend that Silverchair died than have to face the horror of what they (especially Daniel) actually became since the torture device known only as "Young Modern" was conjured into existence. I can not find an iota of logic that can properly explain how such a talented musician could mutate into such putrid vomit. His solo "work" proves that his talent is dead.
@ja040114 жыл бұрын
Silverchair will forever and always be my all-time favourite band. So what if others think that they lost their touch. So what if other people hate them either back then or now. If you are so disappointed, then stop listening. Us loyal fans that are out there will forever appreciate all that is Silverchair no matter what. I've grown up with the band since the Tomorrow EP days. Over 15 years later and I am still listening with no complaints. I still follow CDs and DVDs of theirs without a miss..
