This concert was definitely the highlight of Silverchair's career! Biggest crowd! Biggest Energy! The boys are enjoying it more than any other show they've ever done! This is the closest they came to being rock gods. If Johns had of kept up the hard rock and grunge in his writing they would've become bigger still. The fans loved it! Their career definitely waned after Diorama, even though that was still a brilliant album! But Dan should've kept that as a side project. It wasn't for silverchair.

Diorama was Silverchair's best album. Dan definitely should _not_ have kept it as a side project.

I’ve seen countless metal bands in concert yet I saw silverchair live during neon ballroom era and my ears rang for 10 days afterwards. Loudest band I’ve heard by far live including Motörhead but they blew everyone else off the stage.

I agree with Daniel about the progression of his music. Loved the first two albums when I was in high school...but God...I was just a kid then. My taste in music has changed and improved heaps since then, as have Silverchair's. Their newer music is so much better, but not everyone is capable of realizing it b/c they're stuck in the late 90s.

He hits all the notes, not many singers can hit high notes like he does. I'm waiting for a silverchair come back, they could so do another gold record. rock on

the fact remains that early silverchair (frogstomp and freak show) is immensly derivitive of music which came before. For example, this song is a thinly veiled rip off of Even Flow by Pearl Jam, Roses (off Freak Show) is similarly Kashmir by Led Zepplin and No Association is My Own Summer by Deftones. HOWEVER, with Diorama Johns started o show his songwriting prowess with songs such as Tuna In The Brine and The Greatest View. It's just a pity that they released such an MOR album as Young Modern.
