Their professionalism at such a young age has always amazed me. I mean, they were teenagers and they were playing to massive crowds of people, and they did it night after night with such skill. They got those crowds roaring until their ears popped. It didn't look like they were a drop nervous- they only seemed awkward in interviews. Anyway, it's just incredible that they had so much confidence on stage at that age.

Is it just me, or does anyone else agree the reason they were so genuinely good at what they did from the beginning as teens, and did their best to stayed underground despite immediately making mainstream fame, is because they were *legit musos*? Unlike other teen sensations who don't know shit about music, and so often get caught up in publicity way too quickly & easily. Like, can someone please make a doco about Ben Dan and Chris's parents? Peaking at 16 isn't terrible. The most creative and innovative thoughts are created in the adolescent years and early 20s. I personally feel that Silverchair only gets more interesting for me. I still love their new stuff though I do enjoy the angsty tunes of Frogstomp and Freakshow I thoroughly respect Silverchair for trying new things. Forever love Silverchair 90's and Now.
