It can be caused by a viral or bacterial infection, overuse of the voice and alcohol or smoking .. Lots of things can cause inflammation of the larynx... which is what laryngitis is. This is actually my favourite version of straight lines, he actually had to reinterpret and reconstruct the song on the fly to suit his voice. I loved the book that Ben and Chris wrote. It was heartfelt, funny, and interesting to hear about being a “rockstar” but not a typical one. And it was nice to hear their stories and experiences from their perspective. Daniel undergone many struggles and when the negativity consumes you it’s hard to remember the happy times and you tend to get distrustful of everyone (not meaning to but it happens when you get into that state of mind. speaking from experience.). I’m glad they all worked it out and maybe with time they can have that same brotherhood relationship again or perhaps they do in their own way. either way they are Australian legends in the music industry. and filled my youth with inspiration. they don’t make bands like this anymore at least in America.
