AMEN and HALLELUJAH!!!! I love this one. It gets your blood flowing. Tim's bass and that good Ole revival feel. Austin just wails , chills I tell ya. As a gal who put 126,000 miles on her Mustang in 4 years this song speaks to me. I used to drive just to get away. Before I became a real adult I used to keep a duffel in my trunk, and just go off for the weekend. Hot damn, I'd love to drive that car. I'm a classics lady too. If I ever won a lottery, I'd need about 4 garages. 🤣 Oldest car I ever had was a 1968 Camero. Sold it to my cousin when the shifter cable broke and I was broke. So glad you did this. Thanks 😊

I love that car too. IIRC that's a 1962 Mercury, but don't hold me to that. Austin shines here again...his adlibs near the end....spectacular. Also remember Austin grew up around church. His daddy was a tenor in a Southern Gospel quartet AMEN & HALLELUJAH !!! 😉😎

When you were talking about your '86 Vette being a classic, it just reminded me of how old I must be getting. 😁 I was 4 years old and went with my grandpa to pick up his brand new '65 Pontiac Catalina Ventura. At 16 y.o. that was the car I learned to drive on. My grandpa passed 2 years later. I kept that car until just a few years ago. It now lives at the Arizona Pontiac Museum.

I love your channel! When he was 5 or 6 years old, Austin sometimes traveled and occasionally sang with his father's gospel quartet in Georgia - I think that's where the kind of revival meeting aspect of this comes from.

AMEN! I enjoyed the original, but HF's version just has some extra OOMPH to if for me. No hurt butt from me - I was forced into Sunday best for 17 yrs... then asked one too many questions *lol*! Did you know that Southern Baptists have a version of excommunication? Yep, that happened! Freedom! But putting the car in drive with good tunes was worship for me. Talking about the car I would bet that Adam didn't have his shoes on but would love to know for sure. I can't imagine him putting his shoes on the seat of a vintage convertible.
