The thing about silver and gold that really frosts my cake is that you pay a premium when you buy, then they take ten percent when you sell. In order to break even the metal has to rise quite a bit.

I would be really happy to buy silver at $24. I would be happy if my silver was worth $40. An instructor in a trading class said “The only truth is the price. Everything else is just a fun story.” History is clearer than the future. I don’t expect to speculate using physical metals. The premium is way too high to make short term speculation reasonable for me.

True, none of us have a crystal ball. I actually have one but I lost the cord so I can't plug it in anymore. We do know that the silver market is highly manipulated which is what is keeping prices low. We also know that silver has been approved by both Russia and China to be added to their gold reserves. They probably know something that we don't. In addition, we know that world wide demand is outstripping supply by about 200 million ounces per year. To add to the demand, military missiles use on average 15 kg of silver. Everyone knows that weapons production is increasing significantly. The military demand is not included in the overall demand numbers. Given all of the above, we know that one day the level of demand will overwhelm the market manipulators ability to suppress the price. When that happens, silver prices will explode higher. Will that happen in 2025? Time will tell.

Someone at work told me that gold went up because the demand for electronics has gone up and it is used in electronics. I know a big part of your channel is they hype but come on silver dragons. Just a few weeks ago you posted the video with the article saying how silver was going to run out and it was decades old. Last year all of the people who ran those banks told us 50 and oz silver was happening. It didn't. Its hype. So many people are cashing out that dealers don't have to order more even though people are buying on the dip. I'm not cashing out but everyone needs to get over the idea silver will make them rich one day. It's never been the metal for that. It's a slow burn investment to protect you from interest, an emergency fund, and a way to separate the federal government from your finances, not a get rich program.

As long as the wars continue, capital will flow into the USA, either into bond funds, or perhaps cryptos which will keep the US dollar strong which is negative for gold prices. If Trump can resolve the wars and rectify the trade imbalances, the dollar may strengthen which should push gold prices lower. If Trump fails to get the spending under control, interest rates will move higher which should also push gold prices lower. If you have invested euros or yen in gold, then gold prices will likely go up in terms of those currencies.

From my experience, I’ve always found it easier and less risky to just dollar cost average or in this case just consistently stack, versus trying to time the market, although sometimes it can pay off a lot more to do so.

Silver sucks due to heavy price manipulation. If those in control would price it where it should be, it would be over $100 an ounce.
