@@GeorgeLangabeer I've downloaded the app and have started playing with it. We are in the process of moving in with him and will be converting everything to HomeKit where applicable. I have all HomePods and Philips hue bulbs in our apartment, but have purchased an Aqara smart lock for his house as well as a few Eufy indoor cameras that are HomeKit compatible. He has a ton of Eufy outdoor cameras that sadly are not compatible, but we will use them for the time being. Thanks for the kind words. I look forward to seeing more of your channel!

Hello! The no response issues were a problem for a long time. But they’ve been working on it with software updates and such. I’ve seen drastic improvements in the last year or so. I can’t really remember the last time I got “no response”, so that’s a good thing.

😝. I have & I wasn’t impressed. I’ve really been able to do all the automations I want native in Apple Home, so it didn’t add much for me personally. I was of course just scratching the surface as far as my automations in this video. If I talked about all my automations the tour would have been 2 hours long. lol…But I’ve accomplished all of them natively. But that’s awesome that you love it. I Know many others that do as well.

Just learning how to tie everything together via all you KZbinrs. House is doing with Ring, we are going all Sonos for entertainment and then everything else now I am learning to add things for automation and I like all the Aqara stuff but did not know if I needed another hub. I do understand with Lutron, plan on using those switches, we will need the Lutron hub to tie in. Thanks again

You didn’t miss it. We rent here and as cool as our landlord is, blinds are one thing I can’t change out. This is an old, iconic building in Omaha & They want all the apartments to match aesthetically (which is understandable). That’s one of the reasons we’re considering a house at some point. So I can switch out whatever I want.
