I was born in the late fall of 1978. The 1968 Columbia Pictures Academy Recipient of Six Academy Awards, Brilliant, Classic, Iconic, Timeless Drama Musical Movie, Oliver! is one of my favorite movies of all time! The Song and Dance Numbers are all Spectacular!

In 1829 Legislation was passed by Parliament to establish the Metropolitan Police Force in London.

Recruits to the new police force in the 1830s decade, had to be under 35 years of age, be in really good health & strong, & be at least 5 foot 7 inches tall. As Sir Robert Peel (1788-1850) wanted his force to be a good body size of men. The Bobby was to be Calm, Quiet, and determined, as well as Bold when he had to be, but above all he had to Learn to keep his Temper. Every Recruit joined at the rank of constable, and permission would only be giving to those who earned it. From the beginning, the London Metropolitan Police Force was a great success, but it took time for the public to excepted the idea & many brutal attacks were made against policeman!
