It would seem that you're squeamishness about butlers expressed in the Queen's Grill video has been over come. :-) As a stubborn Yank I was unsure about letting our QG butler unpack. Turned out to be really nice. It looks like the Silver Sea butlers are even more useful. Looking forward to our Silver Cloud cruise in the Fall.

Thanks for your comment David. The butlers on Silversea were in a totally different category than our Cunard experience in our honest opinion. Maybe we just had a bad one on Cunard. Every butler we came across on Silversea though were absolutely brilliant and so caring! They were escorting their guests around the ship and there were a couple of elderly women (solo travellers) who wouldn't let go of theirs and they seemed to be escorted everywhere by their butler! Such brilliant service! :D

Thanks Matthew. So glad you're still watching our videos! :D I'll find the name of the intro music. I'm not sure it's widely available though as I purchase through a licensed music subscription service (so I don't run into copyright trouble on the videos). :) Is Silversea my favourite? Gosh, that's a tough question. We've only been on one Silversea voyage and we were mightily impressed so it's definitely up there in the top three. Given a few more voyages, I'd say it has a really good chance!

Oh yes, proud to be an avid watcher of your videos... they are honestly the best cruise review content on KZbin. No problems about the music title... love your music choices, they really add impact to the videos. Silverseas looks quite impressive, do you know how long this ship has been in service?

@@mattc2094 Thanks Matthew. That's an incredible compliment! Regarding the music, I spend a huge amount of time getting the music right to fit the mood and subject. I'm so glad it actually works in harmony with the visuals as I intend. :) The ship is 10 years old in February, although the complete top to toe refurbishment in May last year including the 'stretching' makes it pretty much a brand new ship. :)

Visit With Us absolutely, your videos are great. I do think you are less able to be objective especially around value for money but still love watching your videos. We just disembarked a Crystal cruise, I was amazed at how many people are getting sponsored cruising through lectures, instructional courses, being TAs, blogging etc, my guess at least 10% of the guests onboard! I need to come up with a specialty fast haha

@@teamflames9508 Haha! 'Find your niche' is my advice. We are just so grateful and feel blessed to be invited to such things. Mind you, we've still spent an absolute fortune over the past ten years on luxury cruising and we still do. Opportunities to 'cruise for free' come along very rarely and as they say 'There's no such thing as a free lunch'! ;)

The Pursuit? NICE! :D Yes, cocktails in the hot tub are dangerous territory. I'll have to have a quiet word with Azamara and tell them they are the only cruise line that frowns upon it. My advice? Take one in and see if you get told off lol!

Hi Rick & Helen. Really, I do love your videos they are terrific, but I have just come across your Silver Spirt blog from some years ago part 1 and in it, you talk about the butler being dressed immaculately. They are from immaculate trousers far far too long and these guys look completely out of place dressed like this. They look very uncomfortable wearing these ridiculous-looking suits or uniforms.
