I regret not getting into them back than, Silverstein is a good band. I grew up in same city as them but didn't know way back than. I don't know them personally. My older brother was acquaintance in early to mid teen years with Jordan Hastings drummer of Alexis on Fire, i never met him. He grew up in Burlington Ontario to. I think he was friend of a friend of my brothers, my brother wasn't friends with him as fare as i know just friendly acquaintances.

What a nostalgia. Good old myspace days. It's one of those songs that takes me back to years where I enjoyed life and felt alive. Now everything is very seedy and everything looks alike. This song belongs to the years when a lot of money and effort was put into songs and music videos. Today's songs and videos all look alike. It's all so simple, it's like they're all the same product.

This song hurts now. Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of this song or band, but during the quarantine my best friend wanted me to make a playlist for her of songs she thought she would like. I used to listen to this when I was younger and her music taste would aline with this genre/sound. So I included it. She ended up playing it on repeat and fell in love. She even thanked me for showing her. I remember waking up half asleep and seeing her at her desk drawing and listening to this song quietly to not disturb me, but it was on repeat. She took her life a week after my birthday in 2020. I miss her so fucking much. This song just hits so differently now. I can’t believe it’s almost going to be a year I just really want her back

I was listening to my chemical romance, Hawthorne heights, Green Day, good charlotte, escape the fate, motionless in white, Linkin park etc all those emo/ alternative bands back when I was a teen. and I never heard of or listened to Silverstein. It’s until now 2017 and now I’m 28. That I found out about this band through Spotify and now I’m in Love this with song and most of their songs.
