Silverstone GP Track day 7/11/22

quick few laps of me chasing a RenaultSport Megan RS around a damp GP circuit. The power of the RS saw it pull away... but not as fast as you might expect.

was that the SEAT thingy that I thought was electric as I couldn't see a front grill....? It was fast.

@@carcontrolcommitment oh no, pure petrolhead here. All the vents are in the lower part of the bumper that needs rewrapping. Hence looking a bit bland. Indeed it is a Seat (Cupra now) TCR

Put carbotech front disc pads in my i 20 N , done 3 trackdays , the burnt out ! Fuckin shockin , what a waste of money do not use these brake pads , what a rip off !

well no brake pad is going to last for ever on track. How much mileage did you do, I'd suggest 3 days is not bad. I've done 4 days of approx 100 miles per day and there's still enough left for an evening session.

Probs 250 miles on track , cadwell , knockhill , croft , distroyd me calliper seals , this , will be second set of callipers under warranty , the car has done 11 trackdays so far , my kona N has done 16 trackdays , calipers changed 2 times , used ebc blue stuff they lasted for 3 trackdays , gona stick to manufactures pads , get roughly 3 days outa them

i20 , had new cv joints plus boots fitted , ( split ) , new exhaust aswell , ownership not as good as i thought it would be , time to sell it ?

Nare , 700 trackdays n countiing , not gona change the way i drive now , my megane trophy R 4 died an awfull death aswell ! , it had to go , kept failing on everything and that was a 63k car 😂
