Silverstone is honestly my favourite Formula One circuit! It hosted the first Grand Prix back in 1950. This circuit is still well loved. The track itself is built for fantastic racing. Silverstone provides some amazing races, the recent one was 2022. It’s got a contract until 2024. I think i will want to personally extend the contract to 3025. WHAT A FANTASTIC RACETRACK!!!!! "The track has changed little". That's not even remotely true. Priory, Brooklands, Luffield, and the whole Arena complex have all been added since 1950. Stowe got tightened up a *lot* in the mid-90s. The start-finish line has been moved. Maggots-Becketts-Chapel got changed from three corners to a (wonderful) double S in 1991. Abbey was chicane from 1994 to 2009 before reverting back to a simple corner. Bridge got added in 1991 and bypassed in 2010. The narrator even points out it doesn't exist any more! And so on...
