They were actually incredibly massive back in 2007-2010, They were nominated for a Grammy in 2009 for best new artist with the release of their album Swoon, I vividly remember being seventeen years old, checking out some books in a rather busy Barnes & Nobel in Melbourne Florida, late one evening in the winter of 2009, and one of the workers actually had the entire Swoon album playing on the overhead, good memories. Nostalgia is one hell of a drug. Just last year, out here in California, a 60 year old coworker of mine was telling me how he recently saw them at Ace of Spades in Sacramento, Silversun Pickups are truly timeless.

I just can tell that he died in home after discharge at the hospital sorround with us; my mom, my sister, my wife and me , concious in the bed with warm blankets, tasting a popsicle, talking his child and teenager adventures.
