More of these please ! This is knowledge that we don't find easily and you're just the best teacher when it comes to more complex setups in C4D !! Thank you so much

Thats why some folks go crazy with xpresso. It is very elegant and useful! I wish to know even more about it now! Thank you, Raphael! You got my patreon subscirption!

man I always forget how powerful expresso is, you don't hear enough about it in the C4D community

To be fair the interface of Xpresso is so so outdated and annoying to use compared to all the other node editors we have now, with quick search, context sensitive menus, easy pickwhips, bigger nodes and elements to grab with your mouse etc.
@SilverwingVFX Жыл бұрын
I guess a lot of C4D users just use it and get so used to it, they don´t mention it. It´s really amazing what it all can do and I myself only know a fraction and use it mainly for simple rigs 😇

Thanks Thom. While you are right, there are things I like about it though: Mostly that the nodes are super compact and do not clutter the interface. I always felt that the new nodes don´t have a very efficient use of screen space.

@@SilverwingVFX Yes this is true, however I always seem to misclick the tiny dots and lines in Xpresso. I think other node editors have a more generous 'click' area when you want to click tiny items. I was hoping theyd update it but I think their full focus is going to be on the new Capsule/node system. You already working with the capsule system?

everything said about octane?
@0zaidi Жыл бұрын
This is a c4d tutorial, not octane, pretty useful tip, it’s almost as the same concept as using pickwhip in aftereffects

Ha ha 😅 I think the good thing is that there will always be something to tell about Octane. Usually they have huge releases with tons of features. So please don´t worry. I just had this tut request from a couple of people so I thought Its worth a shot 🙌

I love how I always get clarity when watching your videos! I felt like I had a "good enough" understanding of the range mapper but I never pushed my knowledge in a practical way. Watching this, I feel way more confident to utilize properly versus playing the guessing games and crossing my fingers.🫠 I really wish we could push the Scene Nodes side of C4D and control things similar to how Xpresso can natively. If that's not Maxon's vision, I will be truly bummed and really upset at the missed opportunity.

Hey Jerome, thank you very much for your great comment! Super glad you liked the content! Yeah. I wish scene-nodes will become more user friendly in the future. Let´s hope for the best.
