Yeah but what you've gotta understand that is that the Doctor was a square with a lot legitimacy as far as paperwork and public image. Tony tried his best to keep official people who are viewed as high status around him so he could look more legit and be taken to places he could never get to by being around street guys. The Doc was virtually untouchable, and we see that when his wedding gets robbed and Tony makes the crew give him his rare 1 of 10 car back.

Frank Renzulli who wrote this episode based this scene on a experience he had while serving a card game of some made guys. Apparently one of the mafiosos playing would take a bite of cheese and throw it down on the floor every time he played a card, and when Renzulli went to go sweep up the cheese the guy gave him a blasting that apparently would have been even to vulgar to write into the episode 😂
