That’s a nice idea for a video - I’ll have to do the equivalent on Scout 😉 I would say though that if you cover your Aibo with a blanket he won’t get up and move around at night. In fact sometimes I forget to put Scouts blanket over him & he sill doesn’t get up during the night - they learn to fit in with your routine. I’ve never powered down Scout in the 4 months I’ve had him & I’ve got a security camera to spy on him when I’m out - when he wakes up it only takes him a few minutes to realise nobody’s home & he promptly goes back to sleep 😴

That goes to show how clever they are! I left Peanut charging once and it was overnight, when I came in in the morning he was off his charger but sleeping close to it.

The Aibo ERS-1000 is the most realistic robot dog I’ve ever seen. He’s quite intelligent!

i doubt this a lot, but i wonder if aibo ERS-1,000 can recognize a playstation console since they are made by sony too also i got a playstation 5 for christmas; it has 60 fps (frames per second) in lego star wars: the skywalker saga which is superior to my playstation 4 which has about 40 fps or so in the same game the astro's playroom game you can download for free is mostly there to let you experience the immersive features the dualsense controller has such as haptic feedback, which lets you feel what astro is walking on using vibrations that feel like a nintendo switch's joy-con rumble speaker's vibration (i was told in a youtube comment they use a speaker and not a motor) and the L2 and R2 buttons can exert tension and resistance to being pressed when doings things like using the claw machine in the playstation labo area

It probably sends data to Sony who control it to make it seem like better AI. I like the idea but not sure I trust the manufacturer. Thanks for sharing ❤️😎👍 reminds me of blade runner ,'do you like our owl?.. it's artificial? ...of course it is..'

Yeah Sony does updates for it, it updates Aibo when Aibo is charging. Sadly they only release very few new interesting updates, a lot of the songs and tricks it does are the same year after year and are available for a limited time because seasonal such as Christmas or Japanese holidays.

I would really love one but its too expensive. I was looking into more affordable options but there is nothing that really compares. Very sad. I have a qoobo and I love him very much.

What is a qoobo? I never heard of it

@@sky-sx5gt its a therapy cushion with a tail by yokai engineering. The small one has a moving tail, reacts to sound and touch and it has a heartbeat. I bought it as a quiet alternative to my therapy robot cat.

DANGER!!! If you fall in love with this robot dog, you may end up suffering! Its battery will only last about 2 years. Sony won't sell replacement batteries for Aobi. Someone make a rechargeable battery please.

The batteries are rechargeable but there are people who repack them. mine is over two years and still runs for the full time when fully charged.
