I just want to let you know what you and your outstanding one in a billion team have done is beyond incredible its jaw dropping, and honestly I'm lost for words sim settlements 1 the old old version was a great concept, but it was janky and more often just caused fo4s fragile load order to break and crash almost all the time but sim settlements 2 is just perfect down to the last minute detail if I could just clone and replace you and your team instead of Tod, and he's money gremlins I would you not only wrote a new page for an 8-year-old game you sir made history hats down fo4 community will never forget you.

Thx for all of these Kinggath. I recently refreshed and restarted FO4 with intention of playing final chapters of SS2 and these are really useful now that I’m attempting to start from zero to completion of SS2 on PC

I have not played Fallout 4 in a few years but your mod is so fuckin cool I had to try it and now I’m hooked again! I love the settlement prebuilds, especially for the places that are horrible for settlements. Great story too man, it’s like a whole new game!

that and setting up trade routes between them and dealing with preston the annoying prick i mean having a settlement able to look after itself when used with this and the right mods has saved me about 400 hrs of running around to save some god dam place that i really give no shits about other than what can they give me to help in places i do care about although i still hate having to even deal with preston at all i only do it due to another mod i use which adds a few squads of men i can send to deal with that sort of crap just wish i could set up to have more of them might have to fiddle with the mod and see if i can edit the amount you can get

Some of these I thought were bugs (scrapping the power pole manually, having the menu pop up when you scrap an ASAM) are actually features! I'm elated

Scrapping the ASAM to bring up the menu while still in Build Mode is a total godsend, compared to having to pop in and out of Build Mode which puts even more strain on your system than it looks like it does. (a ton of background stuff triggers when you go in and/or out of build mode)

Been loving your mods. But I've noticed that with Sim Settlements 2 on Xbox I can't get Settlers to auto claim plots the same way they would with Sim Settlements 1. Is there something I'm missing or do i just have to manually assign the plot every time? Thank you again for completely changing Fallout 4 and can't wait to see what great things you'll release in the future.

@kinggath I am LOVING the mod, however I have a bug that has broken my saves twice now on xbox series x that I cannot seem to find a fix for on your forums. Long story short, it seems that out of nowhere my city planners desk breaks, when I place them the terminal and manage city options are gone, and it will not let me use the desk itself for crafting. PLEASE HELP!!! This mod has single handedly brought me back to loving Fallout 4

Yeah, I will eventually get to HQ! Likely after we do the next overhaul patch to it, as we have some significant improvements to the system later this year.

I actually have a question to the whereabouts of an item that I can't seem to find any item location information when I googled it. Can you please tell me the location of the Norwood Bank Vault Key? It would save me enough headaches, and I have enough health problems to deal with on a day to day as is, so one less would be very pleasant.

I got addons but nothing is showing up in building plans. The settlers build the same Industrial plot or a hideous out of place residential building

Is there a way I can get plots to accept assignment from just one NPC? Is that something I can add into the code or something? I want to build a commercial plot for the Vault-Tec Rep but I can't seem to get him auto-assigned to it as literally every other settler will assign themselves to it before him and I can't manually assign him to anything. I was thinking if somewhere in the plot code I can nominate a FormID that it will accept assignment from and reject all others.

One question so if I have a plot that increases the let’s say strength of a settlers so is that only the settler assigned to it or do all settlers go there like say at a bar? Ig my question is is it one at a time or does it slowly help all settlers?

Did Cha[ter 3 change some of the plot options? For example, when I build a Martial plot, I was manually selecting Citadel but I didn't see the option for it in my new playthrough. I even reset the cache but it still didn't show. Was wondering if it had been moved to Advanced or something so it doesn't come up under basic anymore?

Absolutely love SS2, but I can't get over how almost all of the residential building plans have holes in the roof and walls. You would think that with radioactive rain, the survivors would prioritize building better shelters.

It *should* be fine. Adding mods is usually ok, it's removing them that you should never do.

I’m not sure if anyone else is having this issue on Xbox but I’ve lost two play throughs in the past week due to the game becoming corrupted with SS mod then are unplayable. Right around the same part of bringing jack to Vault Tec HQ, first play through I finished it then talking to the Ron bugged my game, this time using the elevator to the sub basement corrupted my game. And the only solution is to start a new game, hopefully this is being addressed any information would be greatly appreciated I would love to finish the mod before starfield. But at this rate I’m losing interest in starting over multiple times.

Does this mod change anything about water purifiers? I like to build a lot to sell them but for some reason even with 999 water i only get 16 purified water… I think the mod broke my run

That's "Workshop Framework" doing that, it's been asked about dozens of times and supposedly it's "fixing a bug in the base game's code". Many many people have asked for it to be changed or at least made a toggleable setting, myself included. I just run the other mod "Uncapped Settlement Surplus" to make it work the way the base game does again.

See, I've been hearing for literal decades how I must never, ever, under any circumstances whatsoever, remove mods during a playthrough. I've been pulling and plugging, chopping and changing, and remove/reinstall/replacing like crazy that whole time. the TES series, Fallouts 1,2,3 and 4, the entire Total war series, HOI4, COH, etc etc etc Never had any game-breaking issues, just the occasional texture glitch and whatnot... Guess I'm blessed with the luck of the ignorant lmao
